Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaMotel is a bit run down with some maintenance and cleaning neglected. Initially we were in a standard room. It was the old motel office with the kitchen area all glass. Curtains needed to stay closed because of this, which made the room very dark. Soap holder in shower was broken off and had not been replaced. On second night there was a leak coming thru the ceiling in the bathroom. Manager kindly upgraded us to an apartment for next 2 nights. Again the soap holder was broken off in shower and also the towel rack leaving a hole in the wall. Very little storage space in bedroom cupboard in apartment and no coathangers supplied in either room. The fan in the apartment bedroom was so dusty we did not use. I did use the blanket but it looked like it needed washing. Other areas were not as clean as I would have liked.
Very central location. Beds were comfortable. Apartment we were upgraded to was a good size with nice furniture, full size fridge and a safe. Pool was nice.

AustraliaSmall issues like wrong tv remote, power socket not working. Air-con very loud. Furniture showing obvious signs of wear. Lots of traffic noise as situated on a main road. Calmed down during the night and got louder in morning rush hour, as would be expected. Had to ask for a plate and cutlery, they keep them in managers office as some guests steal them.
Motel centrally located, clean rooms, effective air-con, decent size fridge in room. Parking space under cover and near room. Staff friendly and helpful.
