How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Location was perfect to walk to town or the beach. Loved that the bed was made each morning especially as I didn’t expect it staying 4 days. Hosts were informative and welcoming. A great spot to end our Australian holiday

Couldn’t fault a thing.
The location of this B&B is sensational and very convenient access to the beach, Golf Club and city centre. Walking distance to everywhere. The bed was to die for and very comfortable. The overall ammenities were fantastic. Terry and Lyn are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Excellent place to stay.

Bathroom door was not easy to close (didn’t like to stay closed) managed to get it closed
We liked the privacy with helpful neighbours terry and Lynn. We were greeted when we arrived with a smile and a big hello shown our room and where everything was and how to work things. They were friendly, kind and nothing was too much trouble to make us feel comfortable. The unit was clean and tidy when we arrived.

nothing against the host or the property it’s self. it is offered at extra cost but my understanding of a b&b is breakfast should be included.
bath and the shower were unreal. 1 min stroll to beach. 10-15 min walk along beach into main spot. very nicely decorated. terry and Lynn were very helpful

I felt unit needed a little modernising. Curtains defiantly needed replacing .As a person staying on their own I didn't feel closed enough to make me feel comfortable. A heater in the bathroom for the cooler month would be a great addition. Also just some newer canisters to hold necessities on the kitchen benches would also be welcomed. Just my thoughts.
Location exceptional.Couldnt of asked for anything else re location. Breakfast was adequate.

Top notch - cleanliness, furnishings, facilities, beautiful decorations & gardens. A super B&B, friendly & relaxing, located in the lovely quiet area of Wanda beach, just a 2 minute stroll to the sea & sandy beaches & the beautiful bay walk to Cronulla & nearby eating places. (Thai restaurant Alphabet St was amazing) Many thanks Lyn for providing a gluten free breakfast, lovely fresh melon & coffees, we really enjoyed our stay. Around a 30 minutes drive to Sydney Airport.

Loved everything
Lyn and Terry are lovely hosts. Their B&B is located in a quiet street. It is comfortable, clean, & well presented, close to the beach and walking distance to town.

excellent host, all the right information to get quickly settled in. Very helpful with looking after our luggage after the departure and a surf board we had while there. Great restaurant recommendations.

We couldn't eat pizza in our room. Had in eat in the dining room. No problem really!
The choice of breakfast cereals was extensive. Location was very close to the beach area, only 5 houses away. Lovely to walk along the beach paths in both directions. Great restaurant called Summer Salt is walking distance away.

Terry & Lyn are great hosts who have created a very comfortable, clean, & well presented accommodation close to beach and Cronulla town. Thoughtfully providing breakfast supplies on our arrival, it was the perfect place for our family group to stay.
