After the fire died down it was very cold inside the cottage, but luckily we took another reviewer's advice and brought along another thick doona to put on top of the bed. I cant fault anything to do with the upkeep of the cottage or its location. Its been one of my favourite weekend stays.

Location was very convenient to Girraween National Park. Kitchenette was very well equipped with full fridge and many useful utensils and pans for cooking breakfast on the stovetop or using the electric frypan. The precut wood for the fireplace was greatly valued as it was very cold when we were there in July. Each cottage is well separated from each other giving a peaceful sense of privacy and allowing the bush setting to be fully appreciated.

There was nothing to dislike with this property! The only extra thing I can think of that could be a small welcome addition would be a bar heater for those cold winter mornings when you don't wish to light the fire before going out for the day.

It is a lovely and peaceful location off the road with plenty of wildlife on the property to see. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and the owner was very friendly and welcoming.

There was a critter in the roof but that is to be expected in such natural settings. Some people might find that bothersome though. I didn't have a problem with it.

I found the bed a little hard to sleep on.

This cottage was incredibly clean and very presentable. Included all necessary amenities required for cooking etc, fireplace, blankets for colder weather. Great location to the local wineries.

the cabins were lovely but we needed some smaller kindling for the fire. it was hard to get it going with nothing except some little sticks and some large pieces of wood. a bit frustrating on a very cold night.

Felt like a home. Everthing you need . It wasn't that cold but I still build a beautiful fire. Thanks to great instructions. Even ice in the freezer!!! Easy laid back check in and out.

the mattress in Cassia was a tad bowed on one side of the bed. The fridge was a bit noisy so i had to turn it off at night.
