We loved this glamping type experience. We felt like we were in the forest and could hear all the animals and see the trees from our cabin. Our bed was very comfortable and showers were hot. Staff were lovely and the open air dining area was relaxed and fun

Crocodylus had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. 100% rainforest, great people, great fun! Comfy beds and it was awesome listening to the rain on the canvas. If you like no frills nature its a must do!

Everything. It was perfect for our two night stay. I stayed here 30 years ago (twice) and loved it. It hasn’t changed much thankfully! Lovely place for families to reconnect, play board games, cards, etc. Pool, Night Walks, Glamping in Safari tents. Mosquito nets, comfortable beds. It is exactly as the owners describe and if you only like 4 star accommodation, this is not for you. However, you are missing out big time! Lovely helpful, friendly staff, great food at reasonable prices. Loved the Thai vegetable curry. Even though it poured with rain (what do you expect?), we had a brilliant time. Even did the Orange RopeWalk which I remembered from way back, but do NOT recommend it!!!

What an amazing little place! Our booking here was only last minute, but it was definitely meant to be. The staff were lovely, the night walk, despite being in heavy rain, was amazing. You really do feel like you're staying in the middle of the rainforest and I would highly recommend anyone stay here... I'll be back!!

Everything. It was a great couple of days that the children and us will remember. The staff were so nice,especially Steve. Just great to sit round at night with no technology. The night walk was brilliant to. Fab, fab time Plus we saw a cassowary walk past the room in the morning! Amazing

There was nothing, not to like. It was a lovely experience, sleeping in the rainforest.

We were literally staying on the doorstep of the Daintree rainforest. The cabins were comfortable and clean. The owners Sally and Steve made us feel very welcome...very friendly and accomodating. They had a great menu you could buy breakfast and dinner from...or a very good kitchen to cook your own meals.

If there were more activities or info sessions attached so that we can rely more on this place to be our trip providers instead of doing our own, that would be great. Other than that I can't pick anymore floors. Oh someone took 2 eggs but so be it that's not the accommodations fault.

This place is in the Daintree rainforest and is absolutely gorgeous. The people that run the place are kind and informative for the area. I look forward to seeing how this place evolves in the future as the potential seems quite spectacular.

Great place to immerse yourself in the rainforest. Owners Sally and Steve were really welcoming, really well equipped kitchen available for guests to cook in or have the option of having breakfast and dinner at the restaurant there. Lots of things to do in the area, Steve recommended a few great places to checkout.

Nothing to fault

It was our second time at crocodylus and we enjoyed it thoroughly. This place is really an amazing experience in a stunning jungle setting. The location is great near beautiful beaches, swimming holes and attractions. The hosts are really accomodating and very helpful. The communal kitchen is really functional with great space and equipment. The night walking tour was great! We will be back again :)

Nothing, really. I didn't sleep very well because the forest is noisy and it rained very hard, but that has nothing to do with the accommodation. In fact, it was really part of the experience of sleeping among the oldest rainforest in the world!

The setting is absolutely unique, and truly spectacular. The forest that the accommodation is nestled in is simply magical! The staff were also very friendly and had a lot of character, making us feel like we were really at home. What's more, it was impressive that they could whip up such simple but tasty and satisfying fare in such a remote setting and with simple facilities.

Crocodylus is nestled into the rainforest and this is the quality I wanted. Facilities are basic but more than adequate for a comfortable stay. I also enjoyed the self-catering kitchen, the morning coffee and some evening meals, which were good and tasty.

Beautiful grounds, so tranquil and quiet. The proprietors are so friendly,and will go out of their way to ask questions about you. I would absolutely recommend attending the guided night walk, this was the highlight of my trip.
