Booking.com/hotel needs to rewrite the hotel info. No shuttle bus phone at airport as stated & no signs to say where to wait unless you're already at the waiting spot ... which is NOT where the previous waiting spot was! Took 3 phone calls (at 1am) to get shuttle sorted & in morning it was unavailable as being repaired ... just as well I wasn't in a hurry. No sign posts at hotel end re. best walking route to airport, there is a perfectly good walkway but have to find it ... staff directions not helpful. Even at hotel 'central reception' (because now merged with Mecure) was given vague instructions on checking in as to how on find & access Novotel rooms which are literally just around the corner but an unnecessarily complicated process ... for anyone interested the key card access is to the left of the front door hidden from view unless you know where to look! A few sign posts/would make the whole process much simpler for everyone! Staff were ok but wouldn't stay there again

Room was very dated / basic given the cost. Do yourself a favour have breakfast across the road at the partner hotel.

Close to the airport, late check in available after late night flight. Facilities (pool) were great!

No bottle water in room, big let down.Had to make a trip down to reception to buy. For the price of room I'm sure they can afford complimentary water.

The rooms are like a tired old motel. Small, dark and old. Shuttle bus pick up not sign posted so took ages to find. No room service and only a limp salad available at night without a 40 minute wait. Would only give me a 1 hour extra checkout time when I asked for 1.5 hours. A bit unhelpful. Really overpriced for the standard of rooms.

Pool and jacuzzi were outstanding. Good food.

There is not enough shade around the pool. It is hot to walk around the pool area in bare feet.

The entry or the foyer area had a bad stench that I could not ignore. Needs to be looked into. Plus the foyer was entry way to the board room which was rented out on that day.

Long wait at reception during check in. Hotel parking not available. Hence parking at the airport parking area is a fair distance from the hotel.

I arrived with many others at 1.30 am in the morning. Check in was extremely slow. Something needs to be done to streamline check in or more staff allocated by coordinating with airline arrivals.

Property was clean and comfortable and roomy. Appreciated the courtesy bus pick up late at night.

Expensive for what you get Pools close at 7pm Just minimal tea and coffee no biscuits or snacks when going in at 1.30 after flight pay top dollar for a bed

On arrival to Darwin was unable to arrange the shuttle pick up from the airport, frustrating conversations x 2 with hotel front desk to organise this. Shuttle eventually drove straight past us despite me attracting the driver’s attention. We had to walk to the hotel with our luggage late at night, no problem for younger more mobile people.

It was convenient for our purposes for a short stay, very clean,I found the bed comfortable but my partner didn’t (too hard) Breakfast onsite in the restaurant was very good. We also had dinner and breakfast at Cossies Bistro next door at Mantra which was good. Relaxing quiet place to stay, felt safe, everyone friendly. Used the shuttle bus to an air tour meet at the other side of the airport and also to the airport on departure.

The poolside restaurant was exceptional food and well priced I had barramundi meal and was cooked and presented to perfection, kudos to the chef last night And the pool is incredible Shuttle service fast n efficient

I booked a place with a pool and paid the extra money for this only to arrive and be told that the pool is not able to be used because it has been under maintenance for over one month. This was not advertised on the booking portal so it affected my stay negatively. The reception staff apologised but did nothing to compensate and actually made it worse by the way they did not respond to my follow up email - I found this showed a lack of customer service.

The housekeeping staff were excellent.
