The hosts Stuart and Evelyn were lovely, they made us feel very welcome. We loved the intimate setting. The a' la carte cooked breakfast each morning was also delicious.

Evelyn and Stewart were absolutely incredible. I've stayed at many places across the globe (including high-end accommodation in Japan) and I've never experienced such amazing hospitality. The breakfast blew me away with locally-sourced ingredients and Evelyn is a magician in the kitchen. This location is a textbook Hunter Valley getaway and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The abundance of perfect reviews may seem too good to be true, but I promise you that Evelyn and Stewart are just that good. The passion they share for their guest's experience shines through and I've never felt so comfortable staying at any other accommodation, anywhere. If you're looking for the ideal stay at the Hunter Valley, I implore you to look no further. You've found it.

Our accommodation was tastefully decorated, incredibly comfortable and we found it to be a very relaxing quiet stay. Perfectly located for checking out and visiting all that the locality has to offer. Our breakfast was delicious! Especially Evelyn’s homemade Chilli jam. (My husband insisted I add that comment)

Breakfast was original, varied and excellent. The location in the middle of Pokolbin is very central and convenient. Evelyn and husband were friendly and most obliging and we felt like part of the family.

It was very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Evelyn and Stewart made us feel very welcome. The food and wine was amazing and their homemade savoury chilli relish is so good. We stayed in the Chardonnay cottage such a lovely place.

There was nothing we didn't like - it was superb!

What an amazing property! If I could give more than 10 stars, I would. We stayed in the Cabernet cottage/suite which was this cute apartment. We saw Kangaroos on the property, and it was so quiet and peaceful amongst the vineyards. The bed was so comfortable with high quality bedding. The full hot breakfast was excellent, and we really enjoyed visiting with the hosts. I would highly recommend RDC for your stay in the Hunter Valley!

Everything was perfect! From our lovely hosts to this magical place, we had such a lovely time. Breakfast is delicious, the view on the vineyard and the mountain is superbe and the place is really quiet. We had lovely notes and balloons in our cottage because that was our 10 years anniversary. I will recommend this place to everyone that wants a nice weekend in the Hunter valley!

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying here. It was a brilliant experience and a 10min drive from various attractions in the area. The breakfast there was absolutely delicious and we ate there every morning, it did not disappoint! Our hosts, Evelyn and Stewart, were extremely friendly and they went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. If you're looking for a cozy getaway in the Hunter Valley with delicious food and warm hospitality, RDC is an absolute must-visit!

Such a warm welcome from our hosts; talking to them it felt like catching up with old friends. They took trouble to make us and all the guests feel at home. Enjoyed a delicious full cooked breakfast prepared to perfection with care. Stunning scenery by day and beautiful cleat sky at night. Our hosts even gave us a generous gift of wine for the happy couple of the wedding we were attending. Would highly recommend and hope to return!
