The location suited our exploration of the Southern Highlands. It enabled us to have a celebration of our 48th wedding anniversary at a delightful local restaurant Onesta Cuccina.

Beautiful gardens, quaint and quirky cottage and furnishings within. Comfy bed.

Australia9 reviews“Gorgeous weekend getaway”Absolutely nothing that could be controlled by us or the owners but the gardens were too wet to walk in, due to the ongoing torrential rain, and there was a suburb wide blackout first thing on the Saturdayay morning. We'll just have to come back to enjoy the gardens!
The place was exactly as it was shown in the photos and more. A perfect getaway for two for the weekend

The black and white old photos of children directly across the bed were a bit creepy to wake up to. Internet wasn’t the best but not really fussed about that because we didn’t really need it for our trip.
Very good size accommodation for 2 people. Old fashioned but well equipped with modern comforts like a smart tv and coffee pod machine. Lots to explore around the beautiful gardens and breakfast bar was very considerate.

We were aware of the steep staircase, and it was a challenge going to the downstairs toilet! We also thought the bathtub, very nice looking, was unnecessary and difficult to access the shower. But it was fun meeting those challenges.
The cottage and the location was excellent, we loved exploring all the cupboards and side dressers with all the little Nic- Nacs. The bed was comfortable, and upstairs was roomy and cosy. The surrounding gardens were a pleasure to explore.

Like being in a cottage in the UK - even down to the rain! The property is private and feels safe and peaceful and has the best private garden I have seen in years. In warm weather it feels like a place you would want to walk in, find the right spot, and have a picnic or a quiet read of a book. The cottage is warm and olde world full of items from the past that educate or evoke memories of how things were done in the past. Unique.

Australia6 reviewsDisappointingThe overall experience was ruined because I left my netfix account signed in on their smart TV and politely requested via text for the owner to log me out of my account as I have a family account and didn't want to change password. Not only was this request not fulfilled, all our profiles were deleted and renamed to the different cottages the owners manage. I have rectified the situation by changing passwords but our profiles cannot be recovered. This incident was unpleasant and made it clear that there is no integrity in the people managing this property so please be careful and make sure that you don't leave anything behind or forget to log out if you choose to stay here.
