That it's an all night venue.

The location was absolutely fantastic being amongst some of the best Asian Restaurants in Melbourne. The architecture of this accommodation style is typical of Melbourne and what it has to offer. Well done.

Some of the staff treat you with a little disrespect when I think guests should be treated with more care then themselves! When you have a guest you go above and beyond to make them comfortable and happy, sometimes the staff seemed more selfish, but many of the staff were great. I'd put it more down to the managers, as too self-important.

The toilets are generally kept quite clean, but it would be beneficial to schedule a weekly deep clean to eliminate particles from corners and edges. Moreover, the manager should attend to the building's structure, as there are some easily fixable holes that need attention. The kitchen ought to be open 24/7, enabling guests to use it at their convenience. Additionally, the large rooms with 18 beds should be transformed into capsule accommodations to enhance comfort, as it can be challenging to sleep amidst constant movement and lights when many people are around. Given its vast property, the hostel holds great potential to improve its review score on Booking.com. The manager must ensure that the next 400 guests leave a review with a score above 7.5 to boost overall ratings. However, to achieve this, some improvements need to be implemented. One notable issue is the absence of a quiet place for guests to work on their laptops. The property has ample space that could be utilized for this purpose. For instance, the TV room could be relocated, and a dedicated study area could be established to provide a peaceful environment free from external noise. Additionally, it appears that the hostel lacks an admission policy, resulting in guests of varying ages staying together. Implementing an age-admission policy could prevent guests who do not meet the required conditions for this type of environment from staying, thus enhancing customer satisfaction. I perused some reviews on Booking.com and intriguingly, there were no responses from the business to any of them. I am confident that this review will not receive any feedback from the business owner or manager either.

The linens were clean and white, and the location is conveniently close to the tram stop. Additionally, the room features a private bathroom. However, despite the presence of private toilets in some rooms, they are not fully functional for the entire business. While the toilets may be occupied in some rooms, others remain unused, reducing the hostel's capacity to accommodate people's needs.

Extremely noisy.. when your room is located close to the kitchen and the dining tables, it’s a permanent level of noise that come straight into your room… Also the kitchen is closed after 11pm, which if your work late is quite embarrassing. Be aware of the no by your own drink policy, only the ones purchased form the bar are allowed. Something I didn’t like at all, is that they were offering free hot dogs for anyone who was giving a good review. Otherwise it wasn’t free, seriously? Others hostel often offers free breakfast, pizza night or hot dogs for lunch without asking for anything. Simply good intentions and services will lead to better review.

Toilets inside room are extremely dirty. All time smelly. I don’t know how often they wash the shower curtains but in my room they smell like pee. They kindly change my room because the first room where I was supposed to be was on the top of a berth without guardrail. I mean, the hostel was cheaper compared with others I checked. So I can complain too much.

It is extremely near to all the “ attractions “ in CBD. They also do some activities to create a good vibe on the hostel and the stuff was extremely kind.

The common room, the staff were very welcoming and the people I met were wonderful. Hostel management clearly cared about getting people together and bonding and hosted a bunch of fun events (eg. Beer pong tournament and trivia night) super fun!

The only thing I didn't like was that I found some people sleeping in the common areas just outside of the actual dorms because I didn't know if they were meant to be in the facility as they should have been sleeping in their rooms/dorms if they were.

The venue has free table tennis, pool tables, trivia night,beer pong and a very basic fitness centre. It has a fantastic kitchen with lots of cutlery and crockery. There are lots of backpackers from different parts of the world there and it was interesting chatting to them about their home countries.

The rooms were not cozy at all and didn't have flooring. Our bathroom was really dirty and I don't think it got cleaned often. Almost all washing machines and dryers were broken. And I got the feeling that a lot of homeless people slept in this hostel, that was not quite the vibe I was looking for.

There were nice common rooms and a nice kitchen. There is a gym available for the guests. The hostel was also located in the cbd, but I did not really feel safe in that neighbourhood.
