Big brown guest the size of my picky wanting to share the bed with me. Had to chase the cockroach out of my room. I know it was a Hotel accommodation by the other guests kept me awake till 1am on the morning.

that, my room was double booked and I didn't have anywhere to stay on the first night that I booked my accommodation. that, calling and telling me that the place can't take me in because the room was double booked whilst driving towards the hotel at night in the middle of the highway. that, I can't stay in the place which I booked weeks and weeks in advance. that, I had to sleep in my car in the cold.

the night manager made the best she can to make me comfortable while I stay in the bar side of the premises till closing time. then I had to leave because the bar is closing, but she let me used the shower, so at least I had a shower after a very long day and the travel... only to learned that the room I booked weeks before the day was already occupied.

The blind in our room didn’t go all the way down so a large amount of light could come through all night with the garden light being right outside our window.

The bistro down stairs was very good. The beds were comfy and the rooms clean.

The paths out the front of the hotel are covered in bird poop. It was a bit overpriced for what we got.

The hotel room was ok, two single beds and bunks. There was limited hanging space for clothes. We had a kettle but had to fill it from the bathroom down the hall (our room didn't have a private bathroom). The door was very squeaky so it was hard to leave the room quietly. It's a short walk to the station, but we didn't feel safe coming back late at night.

They should have kitchen facility, or at least an oven for heating up the foods and after hours check in on Sunday. There were bugs and noises.

The bathroom door was broken and the fire alarm in the stairwell was sounding. Although not overly loud it should have been repaired in the timeframe of the storm. I am in construction and understand lead times.

I could hear people yelling from outside. I asked for my room to be maked up but I still saw some dirts on the same spot on the floor when I arrived back. Shared toilets and shower are relatively good and clean, except other guests leaving used towels.

The location is handy. Its near to the train station and accessible. It is also close to shops. Carpark is also a plus. The bistro at the property makes the stay more handy but I didnt had the time to drop by at the Bistro.

Rooms require updating. Cobwebs on all the windows of the hotel. Noisy at night with doors squeaking and people walking in the hallway. Very noisy early morning with street cleaning vehicle and then refuse collection. Light on the street was directly outside my room. No breakfast available in the morning which i thought was poor for a hotel.. No places available in town for breakfast unless you had your own transport.

Bar and meal area was nice. Wifi was good as was air conditioning. Meals were good and drinks expensive as usual. Shower was good and good pressure.

The glass folding windows would not fully close, so there was a lot of street noise. It was a Tuesday night, so it wasn't too bad, but would be very annoying if it was busy. The room was worn and some of the paint was peeling. There was an unidentified stain on the carpet.

We arrived late, but the night manager was very helpful. No fuss and he showed us to our room. The room was small but comfortable and quite clean. The hotel is one block from the railway station, so very convenient if arriving by train.
