It was a little noisy at times due to events being held nearby. The bathroom could use an update but it was still fit for purpose.

It was comfortable, clean, and felt safe and private. The room was nothing fancy but nice enough to feel at home for one night, and had enough space to store my things and make tea without tripping over stuff (which I can’t say for all rooms above pubs). There was plenty of free parking on site (I stayed a Sunday night). The staff were friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee provisions, soap, shampoo, and towels were provided. The mini fridge had a tiny freezer compartment too!

The staff were not welcoming and made me wait 15 minutes whilst simply trying to give them my ID card for a photocopy. Two staff members were not busy at all at the time (although one apologised for the delay) and they made me wait for a third staff member to return before helping me. The night staff also made me walk around the entire building to a specific entrance with a leg injury after locking the main door prematurely (it states it locks at 11pm but it was 10pm). I just needed them to accompany me to my room to let me back in as I had locked my key inside. There were cockroaches in the hallway and bathrooms at night and there were several stains/hair on my sheets.

I was upgraded to a room with a private bathroom for 1 of 3 nights. This was after my room was not cleaned by staff and my blind's drawstring broke which let light in.

For the price point this was great. Cheaper than a hostel for a private room. Little things like the blinds not going the full way down, and the slate glass windows can make it a little noisy when the cockatoos roost in the trees out the front. But this is all minor. I would stay again.

For the money this was a fantastic option. Staff were great, the hotel bistro had great value for money. Air conditioning, fridge, tea/coffee in the room, tv with Netflix.

Great location for The Blue Mountains and a train station on the doorstep. Fantastic food menu with daily specials at reasonable prices in a family orientated bar. Plenty of sport on view with numerous televisions.

Booked as I was volunteering at an event at eastern creek and needed somewhere within 15 minutes to the track. On arrival check in was very confusing with no actual "hotel entrance", we ended up just being checked in at the bar - there was no lifts so we had to carry our suitcases up 2 flights of stairs, and then we entered the room which did not look anything like the photos on this advertisement. The bathroom was very dirty, to the point we had to clean the toilet before we could even use it, hairs in bed, used dental flosser on the floor, cobwebs all over the windows and shutters that didn't fully close so we couldn't block out any street noise. Other guests did not obey the noise rules and doors were slammed all night every night up until 4am. We were given 1 towel each for 3 nights and this was never changed. We unfortunately were working long days not getting back till after midnight on all nights so there was no opportunity to discuss this.

TV was enabled with a google TV so all apps were available instead of just standard TV.

The noise from the hotel downstairs and the massive air con unit was terrible,no sleep until after 4am.the staff don't know how to smile or be polite in any way.didnt get the email to get my 100 bond back.rooms were grubby,old,broken windows in bathroom,cockroaches,other tenants fighting and screaming.dont stay here.

Bistro was close and the food was very nice.

The room had a cockroach infestation inside the bottom of the fridge, i stayed in room 13 and it was disgusting. The window sill was also dirty with an unspeakable amount of dirt and dust. The bathroom was disgustingly filled with mold. The fellow guests were loud and rude, the pub was full of cigar smoke. I had a fellow patron harass me for wearing a mask about three times and the staff did nothing when i asked for help. The rooms are dirty, the window sill was so dusty they dont pay their maids enough.

i liked that the location was close by to my girlfriends home. Making it very easily to spend a majority of my time with her instead of the cockroach infested hotel and rude guests who smoked, screamed and laughed at insane hours of the night.

Insects were crawling. Found someone's hair on my bed which means the bed sheets were not changed along with a filthy disgusting room and bathroom. I will never stay there again neither I will recommend this to anyone.
