Laundry didn't have enough machines or quality machines - 3hrs to do washing. Housekeeping didn't have an ashtray on balcony. When we asked staff, they gave us a broken one which took them 2 days to empty and replace. No water in the fridge. Didn't realise how tiny a double bed was so slept separately. Air con didn't go cool enough.

This was a lovely hotel, and we enjoyed every part of it. It would have been great to have seen the shop open occasionally as it seemed to be permanently closed. As tourists you are very keen to see the local handicrafts and art and this was a missed opportunity. It would have been lovely to have seem more emphasis on indigenous art especially the ethically sourced art and understood more about the provenance of the art on the walls. You’ve got so many big beautiful walls there crying out for some amazing indigenous art.

I was very impressed with the friendliness and approachable nature of the restaurant staff, especially at breakfast. Their smiles and willingness to ensure the diners had a wonderful start to their days were just so uplifting. I actually commented on it to my family because you don’t often see that level of authentic pride and care in someone’s work!

The amenities were basic. Aside from breakfast, the food was overpriced and underwhelming. The beds and pillows too soft and uncomfortable. The constant slamming of doors by cleaning staff was very disruptive.

The breakfast was done well and the staff were friendly. Laundry services were helpful.

Building may start to look a bit old with some paints flaking off the balcony handrails. Swimming pool ok, but had a few parts with tiles falling off (where safety cones are placed so you know where to be careful).

Location is close to city and airport, and quiet. Room is spacious, staff at breakfast buffet are very friendly. Kids enjoy their stay and the swimming pool. Beautiful peacock roaming the garden too. Hanuman restaurant on site is great. Late checkout 12pm is good.

Please work on your customer service (already checked in went to the room and the key wasn't working , called reception and was asked to go back to reception my room was right at the center so it was a long walk mind you this was after driving for more than 5hrs) Please get a runner or something especially for old people. A smile would go a long way as well for reception. Thank you

the fact that you had to join the Hilton Honors rewards program to get the free wifi was a bit of a pain (not a problem to join) the fact they already have all your details it surprised us that you had to join the program to gain internet or pay for it at a daily rate. Bar service from the pool was a little disorganised and had to go looking for our drinks. I think staff shortages are still hitting the industry a bit. most Hotels we stay in around the world these days provide complimentary water on a daily basis surprised that a hotel in the middle of a desert town doesn't think it needed to .

Room was nice and spacious and the breakfast was great with plenty of options for all tastes, wants and needs. The pool area was excellent. the internent was a little slow but worked ok . The resident Lyrebird was a nice addition to the grounds.

Key card did not work first time for room (but this was quickly resolved by reception) There seemed too few staff in the bar/restaurant areas, and waiting for service even though quiet took longer than I would like. I.e. ordering one drink took over 10minutes (when there was no one else ordering/waiting) The gym shower gel dispenser didn’t work. I was approached by a man who sat next to me uninvited in the hotel bar whilst I was having a drink on my own, asking me to buy local artwork and when I politely declined was asked to buy them beer; they then went on to at least 3 other solo women that I saw before wandering further into the hotel without any prevention from staff - there seemed to be no hotel security to stop this kind of solicitation which I found odd given the number of notices by hotel entrance/exit doors that state doors would be locked due to security reasons.

at check-in, they aren't able to take payment and give me an invoice, I have to wait to check out, and then they say they have to email it to me. Sometimes they do and more often than not I have to chase them up

I am so surprised the staff to check with me if I want to pay $19.5 for wifi. I have travelled so many counties, wifi should be the basic facilities for hotel customers. It is so weird for hotel like Hilton charge more for wifi.

There are a number of things inconsistent in the hotel as a 5 star establishment. 1. The Carpark has no cover and carries a lotto gravel. It is also some distance from the hotel entry making dark returns a bit concerning 2. The path to the hotel entrance from the carpark was dark. It had lighting poles but were not working. I reported this to the from desk. Again, in regard to feeling secure, this was not good. 3. The side door coming from the carpark has a card reader to access, however every time I went through it, it was ajar so anyone could come in. The back door to the wing I was in was also ajar sometimes. 4. The room has a fridge but not mini-bar stocked. There was no bottled water in the room, and considering the tap water tastes like it comes from the pool, this is not good. 5. The coffee station has standard instant coffee and tea bags. I would have expected a little more in this regard. 6. Hanuman restaurant is always good, but I fear the quality of the food has gone down since I first started going there. The Hanuman Oysters, their signature dish were tiny and the curries were good, but not great.

This is a very good hotel that has all the hallmarks of a 5 star establishment. The bed was great, the room size is good. The bathroom is good quality and it has an iron and board. The breakfast was great and the staff fantastic and accomodating. The egg station is the best. The queue for coffee was long as one machine was down, so ordered a barista version. Very comfortable foyer and excellent staff attention.

There was no free wifi unless you signed up to a loyalty program. They seemed understaffed as the pool bar was unattended and it took 15-20 minutes to get served.

No room service at breakfast. Limited room service menu, empty minimal despite it advertising a mini bar, not e en a bottle of water provided in the room. No one answered phone on reception or room service. Bar / restaurant not very clean. Mask left on floor.

When I returned home and checked my bank statement I found that I was double charged. I called Doubletree on Monday 30/1/2023 to advise what had happened and supplied a copy of my bank statement showing the double charge. It is now Wednesday and I have no return call.

The room was very good. Breakfast was good. Didn't use the pool.

The view, paid upgrade for mountain view, called beforehand and requested for highest floor which was confirmed by staff but ended up getting lower floor and tree in front of balcony. so no view. I understand it’s based on availability but it’s low season and was slightly disappointed.
