There were no black tea bags of any description, just green and lemon/ ginger. Disappointing as a tea drinker and would not expect to have to being those to such an upmarket place. Would go again and try another room.
Location was perfect, room was lovely. Staff were helpful as we arrived late evening.

Staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Comfy room and very comfy bed and bedding. Bathroom was clean, easy access to the shower, user friendly shower taps. I would happily stay there again.

Australia25 reviews2 helpful votesGoodThe elevator was out of action which, as a disabled person would have been nice to know in advance as I then had to tackle the stairs the whole weekend. They say ‘ample street parking’ but that simply isn’t true, most have restrictions everyday but Sunday. Also we paid $60+ to upgrade to a ‘room with a view’ but ended up in a room that felt like a dungeon because you couldn’t see anything outside at all, it was completely closed in.
The room was clean and quite nice. Bed was comfortable. The food from the bar down stairs was lovely.

Australia1 review1 helpful voteVery goodFinger size gaps between the sash windows and frame. Lets in air and also rattles in the wind. If they put in some window sealing strips it would solve this. I ended up jamming bits of paper in there to stop the rattling which is not what you want in a premium hotel

Australia13 reviews2 helpful votes“Fantastic location and hotel but take earplugs to sleep.”The hotel has a bar below the hotel rooms which has live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings which is great but it was so loud the sound traveled up. I was unable to sleep until the band had finished which was 1am in the morning both nights, so for that reason I would not return unless this changed. Shame as the hotel is lovely otherwise.
The property was very clean and well maintained and very convenient for the tram.

Rooms above a pub - no staff overnight - which I hadn't expected but it was fine. The in house dining menu was great - plenty of vegan options. The bar staff were lovely.
