Make sure you read the fine print as this is more a bar/restaurant with a nice hotel above it than a full service property, so there is no staff between around midnight and 11am. Moderate street noise and noise from the bar on weekend evenings is pretty loud and I wish I could have had a desk. When my room was made up though they didn't empty the trash. Lift was not working for my entire stay and I had a scary moment where I was stuck in it.

A quirky but modern hotel in an incredible neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable, I loved the blackout curtains, and the shower was great. The staff were also very helpful and kind and it was nice to have a bar downstairs. Loved having a kitchenette as well.

Lift was broken so we had to carry all or bags etc through the crowded pub and up two stories. Sign of lack of maintenance, toilet roll holder broken, curtains broken, fan in the bathroom needs a clean to work properly. Not enough power point to even plug the provided lamp in.

The sink in the bathroom was blocked so had to use the kitchen sink. There were no black tea bags of any description, just green and lemon/ ginger. Disappointing as a tea drinker and would not expect to have to being those to such an upmarket place. Would go again and try another room.

Staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Comfy room and very comfy bed and bedding. Bathroom was clean, easy access to the shower, user friendly shower taps. I would happily stay there again.

The elevator was out of action which, as a disabled person would have been nice to know in advance as I then had to tackle the stairs the whole weekend. They say ‘ample street parking’ but that simply isn’t true, most have restrictions everyday but Sunday. Also we paid $60+ to upgrade to a ‘room with a view’ but ended up in a room that felt like a dungeon because you couldn’t see anything outside at all, it was completely closed in.

The room was clean and quite nice. Bed was comfortable. The food from the bar down stairs was lovely.

Finger size gaps between the sash windows and frame. Lets in air and also rattles in the wind. If they put in some window sealing strips it would solve this. I ended up jamming bits of paper in there to stop the rattling which is not what you want in a premium hotel

The hotel has a bar below the hotel rooms which has live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings which is great but it was so loud the sound traveled up. I was unable to sleep until the band had finished which was 1am in the morning both nights, so for that reason I would not return unless this changed. Shame as the hotel is lovely otherwise.

The property was very clean and well maintained and very convenient for the tram.

Saturday night was really loud until about 12pm. The curtain near the bed didn’t close all the way so was quite bright for sleeping.
