Shower in our Room was very open and water tended to build up on the floor of the bathroom. Should easily be able to be rectified as this is a safety issue.

We had no complaints about our stay.

Breakfast was wonderful. Our Spa treatments did the trick to make us feel relaxed and our room overlooking the the trees with lots of birds to greet us was wonderful. I would recommend a stay here to relax and get away from it all.

The shower/bath combo kept dripping onto the floors but that was the only potential negative, though it did not detract from our stay one bit. The TV could be bigger, only because we loved watching a movie at night whilst it rained.

Breakfast was delicious, the portion sizing was just right to set you up for the day and the coffee was on point! The room was a nice size and had all you need! My partner loved the Salus products, this was the attention to detail that would make us recommend Empire to everyone looking for a cheeky getaway. I have to mention the breakfast staff... they two ladies were amazing. Both we personal, gave great ideas for the day but at the same time were not intrusive.

It seemed a bit tired. We visited many years ago and can only compare to that - - paint was chipped in the room (I.e. Room 4 - draw back the glass to expose the shutters - the surround needs painting. - shower curtain needs replacing. Hem looked a bit dirty. - freshly squeezed juice would have been nice at breakfast.

Bed was a bit hard, took me a few days to get used to it and sleep comfortably. Also the shower setup causes water to go everywhere, we had quite a few puddles on the floor.

Room was lovely and in a gorgeous location. Breakfast and coffee were delicious. Staff were lovely.

We did not get to use the spa as it was fully booked and we booked in last minute. Otherwise the room was super comforting as soon as we walked in it had warm cosy feels to it. Everything was clean and fresh I am sure if we had a problem they would have sorted it out straight away for us. Breakfast, we had many options but not overwhelming with too many it was a great selection, coffee was tasty as well.

We stayed in the Luxury Villa which was private, spacious and clean. There is a mini kitchenette, bar fridge and microwave - this was helpful for evenings when we planned to stay in and eat. There is also a large spa which was such a treat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. I highly recommend staying at this place if you want to get away and relax. Also highly recommend the Empire Spa - the treatments were amazing!

Nothing really

Loved the staff, and the atmosphere. Stayed in the main building and enjoyed the fire, comfort and relaxation of the lounge. Although it rained, we enjoyed the location on the farm and the atmosphere and the integration with farm life. The breakfasts were simple and well cooked, and all one really needed. The location near Dunsborough and Yallingup was perfect.

We stayed in the loft suite which was difficult to explain to my husband about accomodation noise. He thumped his feet over the wooden floor boards, slammed doors and I could hear him moving when I was downstairs. I worry how the people staying next to us felt because he was particularly noisey. We could hear the breakfast noise in the mornings but it was not the end of the world. It’s still a very cozy room, beautifully decorated and designed. On the second night about 5:30-6 the hot water failed and I washed my hair and myself in very cold water. I told myself it was good for the soul. By the morning it was running again so not an issue, these things happen.

The block is gorgeous, we sat in the love seat in the sun, we sat on the deck by the pond and watched the ducks and whizzies go by. It was peaceful and calm. I used the communal fireplace room a lot, sat by the fire and read my book with a glass of wine. There was hardly anyone in there. The staff were incredible and the spa was absolutely sensational.

I didn’t like that the bathroom was cold for our shower in the morning. Also the water temp of the shower varied when you were in the shower. A big disappointment that there was no facility to heat food in our room or at the retreat . In the photos I saw I thought we had a kitchenette. It was winter and most of the restaurants were closed so trying to find somewhere to eat in the evening was a problem . Clancy’s fish pub and The Cave House Hotel were very average . Lamont’s was the best we could find . I love the venue but not sure I would book again if I can’t get something to eat in the evening . Shame as it is a lovely place to stay .🥲
