The lift was a bit slow and our shower wasn't great

The affordability meant we could spend more money on exploring for having a cheaper place to stay which was still really nice and all we needed

Tennis court was closed for maintenance, the mattress needed to be replaced. The gym could do with a set of dumb bells otherwise okay. A dumb bell rack for suggestions say 1kg to 10kg pairs.

The airconditioning switched off in the reception area and walkway after hours as it was a very hot and humid time that we were there. Not enough basics in the kitchen, such as salt, pepper, garbage bags for waste and recycling (for foreign and interstate travellers, it is super annoying to have to buy such things and not have space to keep them after the trip), and a decent frying pan that was flat.

Our unit was pleasant and had great views. It was obvious that a few maintenance issues were outstanding, such as a light not working, a leak on the balcony, and kitchen cupboards not closing properly. Tne tennis court and sauna/steam room were not in use due to maintenance issues also. But despite these things, our stay was really pleasant.

Building was looking a bit sad on the inside, extension cord in hall way tapped to wall around elevator heading into a room. Building just needs a bit of attention to look nicer

- Replacement towels weren't provided unless you pay extra. Had to wash them yourself. Stayed for a week - There were cockroaches in the room - utensils were rusting

The room itself could do with updating furnishings, but we didn't mind as we spent a lot of time out and about. Cooking facilities in room basic but has essentials for breakfast prep. Cleanliness left some to be desired, but staff were helpful in attending to the issues.

Great location, within walking distance to the beach as well as the main entertainment and shops. Views from the balcony are wonderful, staff were helpful, and I would definitely recommend and stay again.

The facilities were old but not in the best way. Elevator was slow and very noisy - always felt like it was going to break down. The Sauna wasn’t working which I was pretty disappointed with. The out door facilities were blown around and not well kept. A room on our floor had been burnt down which gave a horrible burnt plastic/electrics smell which I couldn’t stand. Luckily the smell wasn’t in the room.

Location was perfect! Room was dated but I really liked that - had a lot of charm and gave the 90s Florida feel. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Front desk were lovely too. Underground indoor parking was great!

The venue is outdated, and some of the rooms are residential so occasional smoke smell in the hallway was there. the common areas are motel standards and perhaps a couple decade old, that being said, well conditioned facilities and family friendly so it does what it said it would do. We were grateful we didnt need the aircon, we could leave the window open being higher up, as you can see weather has worn on the outside unit.

We were on level 8 facing the beach, waking up to the sunrise was absolutely amazing!! We were in a simple studio room, bed was comfortable, kitchen had great amenities and the place was clean. The rooftop view was a standout as well. My husband said the sauna/steam and pool were good and he was able to do his hot cold therapy. We loved that theres parking. What made the stay great was Michaelas customer service, just made things simple.

The showers hot water pressure and temp could be improved, but that cool shower added an extra element of excitement after a day in the sun.

Great location directly opposite the beach, room had everything we needed for a short getaway. Views were fantastic from ocean, city and river. Staff were all friendly and courteous to visitors and residents.

The place is pretty run down, my room was clean but not good value for money. There are a lot of permanent residents there.

Being on the 11th floor, bit high for me😳 iAnd if you are not a race enthusiest dont go the week before or while the GC500 is on, its a nightmare! The location of the resort is right on the trackside!

Room felt in need of maintenance - we were afraid to use ceiling fan as it was so loosely hanging from the ceiling. Some masking tape covering rough tile edges as well. We noticed some rust in the bathroom. There was rubbish and hair under the bed from the last people staying there. Lifts were a bit slow going up but probably only an issue if you don't like lifts. We didn't realise the apartments weren't serviced so be aware your towels won't be changed and you will need to top up your own coffee, tea, soap etc.

Great location and view of the water. Handy to the tram station nearby, the shops and the beach. Staff were friendly on check in and with any queries we had, nothing felt like a trouble. Room was clean overall. The bed was comfy and the air con was good. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

I prefer a walk in shower. Hot water was good. There isn’t much wrong with the property except for the wifi.

The views and the location. The studio was comfortable but the wifi was practically non existent. It was frustrating when one needs to work on the internet.

Lock on apartment difficult to open Shower over bath Pool & Spa closed since May Extremely rundown with rotten wood in bathroom Got to pay for wifi Tennis court in very poor condition. Only able to do tea or coffee as no kitchen utensils

The games room had no games and the dartboard & Air hockey table didn't work. The room wasn't the cleanest, especially the couches and pull out beds which clearly don't get checked. The utensils and dishwear were not clean upon arrival, everything was visibly dirty and sticky.

The staff were very kind and welcoming. It is in a fantastic location, close to public transportation, the beach and convince stores. The view from the balcony was gorgeous!
