It was cosy, everything essential was provided, Stacey who was looking after the place is excellent, she looked after us so well, checked on us always, she even contacted me before we arrived and kept checking on our needs and when we asked she arranged wine tour for us, once again we really enjoyed the tour with James… it was my birthday treat, me and my husband really enjoyed, loved…

Nothing! Delighted with the property and the position. The room was huge and our Labrador clearly felt right at home as soon as we arrived, placing herself in the middle of the room on her bed. The position right next to the pond, with ducks swimming around, could not have been more picture perfect.

Breakfast was great - eggs, bacon, loaf of bread, muesli - all we needed. This was something we did not expect and were delighted by the fact the fridge also had a full liter of milk and some butter and cheeses.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like about staying here. It was a very positive comfortable stay

Absolutely superb accommodation to meet our every need. Not too far away from the town, it was a pleasant walk to enjoy one of the local restaurants. If you didn’t want to walk, the owner was helpful and offered to arrange a taxi transfer.

Absolutely beautiful property with a spotless clean cottage that contained everything needed for a relaxing and peaceful stay. I would recommend this boutique accommodation to anyone staying in Mudgee. The gardens are beautiful and the river at the back of the property is just another bonus.

A minor issue - Tennis court is worn and battered with uneven surface and broken net. Great facility onsite but such a shame it hasn't been looked after.

Great location, easy to check in / check out, had everything we need and lots of space. The pool was lovely and was very quiet even though it is a shared pool with 2 or 3 other villas onsite. A great experience and recommend this place for a stay in Mudgee.

All good but Orchard Cottage and Willow cottage are further into the gardens and afford more peace and privacy.

Willow cottage was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Close to the centre of town but set back away from the road, surrounded by nature trees and ponds, in mature gardens that run down to the river. Comfortable, quiet and clean. What more do you want. The accommodation was well appointed, with everything we needed. We used the BBQ, on the deck above the pond, both evenings but could have easily walked into town for dinner.

While the location was good, it was a little too far to walk into town on the very hot days!

Evanslea is a well maintained property in beautiful grounds. It has a shared pool, which was much needed as the weekend we were there was very hot weather. While the House we were in was at the heart of the property it was very private and we were not disturbed by other guests. Stacey was a gracious host, providing plenty of goodies for us to enjoy a cooked breakfast and delicious cheese plate.
