The only negative aspect was the lack of internet, but we understand that is a getaway place so it is not crucial for the accommodation to have. Honestly, we did not check that before booking so it is all good.

We liked that the lounge room was comfy and spacious, that everything was very clean, and that the beds were very comfortable. We also appreciate that there were blankets and supplies such as shampoo and hairdryer available.

The lighting of the room was not good. There should have been more warm lights in order to create more cozy environment in the cabins.

Our second visit at Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway was equally as enjoyable as the first, exceeding our expectations. Our host, Jess, greeted us warmly and made us feel perfectly at home from the time we arrived. The accommodations itself provide a range of features that serve well to both adults and children. The BBQ area was well-equipped and maintained, making it ideal for family meals and quiet gatherings. In addition, the pool was popular with the youngsters. They spent hours enjoying the indoor and heated water, which kept them comfortable no matter what the weather was like. Another notable feature was the fire pit. Everything was lovingly provided, including firewood, fire starters, and marshmallows in the room, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. These simple gestures made our stay quite unforgettable. The kids' gaming room was well-stocked with activities like as table tennis, several sorts of balls for different sports, and much more. The addition of a tennis court with rackets and balls expanded the variety of outdoor activities accessible. In addition to the various attractions of Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway, the reception area has a large selection of movies and board games. Guests can select from this collection for free. This feature is very tempting to families and parties searching for indoor entertainment, particularly in the evenings or on rainy days. The location of Federation Gardens and Possums Hideaway is also worth noting. It is conveniently located within walking distance of Evan's Lookout, Grand Canyon, and Walls Cave, providing easy access to some breathtaking natural sites.

The location was perfect . Not overly crowded due to limited number of cottages.The indoor pool was great for kids and adults to enjoy.The kids even enjoyed the gaming room and the tennis court .The BBQ area was nice too and the out door covered place was a Jerry on the cake .The staff is great too .would highly recommend and will definitely come back again .

Pool could have been a bit warmer for adults although was ok for kids The kitchen was well equiped but stove top was electric so took a while to heat up

There was nothing to fault!

Possum Hideway proved to be a beautiful private location. Easy to get to by car and only a short drive from the main hub attractions of Katoomba and Leura. Facilities were modern and clean. The fireplace being prepared for our use was a big highlight (as we've never built one before!) and the heater being turned on to warm our room for our late check-in was amazing! The late check-in and complimentary 12 pm check-out were a dream! 100% would recommend it, and would stay again!
