The cabin we stayed in remembered me if the 1970’s style. Rather tired.

It is a fantastic position with amazing views. The Lodge blended in with the surroundings

Some staff not particularly friendly or well informed. Some difficult to understand at times. Some examples of not very good customer service.

Breakfast was fantastic. Setting was amazing. Richardson's Bistro meals were great. Jetty for cruise pickup excellent

The mattress - hard, didn't isolate movement, and was difficult to get comfortable on for both of us.

The stay at the Lodge was wonderful. The pillows were no to my wife's liking the first night, and more suitable pillows were provided cheerfully. The cabin was very comfortable and quiet and had a great view. Sitting out on the deck we just felt the tension evaporating.... The breakfast was exceptional. My only complaint was that the mattress was a bit old and tired and did nothing to isolate movement. But other than that were were very pleased.

The hotel is beautifully located and our room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff at reception and in the din8n* room were very gracious and responsive to all our requests. Breakfast were delicious and plentiful and had lots of choices.

Only complaint if Im being picky was that they ran out of poached eggs at breakfast

Location was great, walking distance to two spectacular beaches and short drive to others. The Bay restaurant surpassed all my expectations . Food and service were fantastic. And the night sky we witnessed was just out of this world.. sheer coincidence or confluence. If only pictures could capture the magnanimous display of starry constellations and milky way.

The Tv was glitching so much it was almost unwatchable & would be good if wifi was available in the cabins themselves to keep teens entertained.

The Cabin was just what we expected & was very relaxing.

There’s no WiFi in the cabins (nowadays a standard one would think), only in the lobby and restaurant. Also WiFi reception on the restaurant terrace is poor. No (accessible) (USB) charging points near the bedside tables, so phones, watches (ie things with an alarm) etc have to be charged away from the bed. Check out is very early (10am).

Location is unbeatable - and the views from the restaurant and terrace are second to none. The lodge itself is generously sized with a spa bath and tucked into the forest. The restaurant is amazing, and so is the bistro.

Bistro tables were sticky to the touch. We dined in the main restaurant in the evening where children running around and made it noisy and quite frankly not what you expect in an upmarket dining experience. We are fine with children dining at night with families, but not when they are running around.

Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.

TV signal is not stable due to the bad weather

The hotel surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade and access to a free mini bar stocked with locally sourced snacks and beverages from Tasmania. The complimentary local made pillow mist was unexpected. The service quality from both the front desk and restaurant staff was top-notch, making it a truly memorable experience for us. Really impressed!

Parking spaces are a bit of squeeze, would be better if they were wider. Other than this I could not fault the lodge. It was amazing in every way.

From the moment you arrive you feel so special. Staff are very welcoming, the facilities are wonderful and cabins so homely. Being situated right on the bay was wonderful.

Stayed for three nights, ate breakfast and dinner there, all very nice. Great location near the beach and easy access to many scenic walks.

No Wi-Fi in the cabin. We were not warned about this in advance. There was Wi-Fi in the restaurant area but it was a little slow, Aldo, our cabin was very cold at night and we couldn’t get the heater to work.

Loved the cabin we stayed in and the Richardsons bistro. Staff were excellent / very polite and helpful.
