The sliding doors didnt lock, we also had no access to cleaning equipment, the mirror was cracked which was a safety issue for our grandson. The place is nice but in need or some TLC

Shower was not great. No door on shower. Not enough power points in apartment for 5 people. It was advertised as free Wi Fi but we had to pay in the end - not impressed.

it was an old property that had been made to look modern, windows were old and noisy, bathroom window was distorted so wouldn’t close, no bathroom door on the master, only 4 coat hangers between 3 bedrooms and 6 people, no batteries in the remote, first night we were cold so I pulled out of the top of the wardrobe the only throw and when we woke up next morning the throw was filthy and stained with what looked like vomit, management rectified however all these things should have been checked, however apartment was spacious for 6 people

the manager was very helpful and accommodating, the heated pool spa and sauna were very clean and well maintained

i booked the superior room but the room i received looked more like the cheaper budget rooms. the shower had glass on the floor as the soap holder had smashed (reception did clean this immediately after mentioned though)

Toilet in main bathroom kept running. sinks in both bathrooms kept blocking. Not enough towels and no bathmat in main bathroom. There were fruit flys in the kitchen everywhere. No extra blankets or pillows. Blankets were very thin.

Old, dated and a little dirty. Had 3days without an oven (not great when you have kids). Room wasn't ready at desired time,and even after checking into the room had too wait for it to be cleaned. No curtains in the main bedroom (manager did give us some blankets to hang up)

Loved the space, the apartment felt modern. The view and size of balcony was perfect. Walking distance to everything was under 10 mins. Friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms. Fit our family of 6 amazingly without us being cramped.

Location was great, when booking we were told no noise after 10pm but then when we got there it was no noise after 9pm, we had friends coming for dinner before we headed out to a birthday and this was a bit awkward as we all then had to leave an hour early

The apartment was very VERY dirty, looked like it hasn't been cleaned for weeks. The drains in both bathrooms were blocked. The fridge was not clean. The bedrooms were so dusty and dirty. We had to clean the whole apartment.

The appartment was not what I would describe as deluxe. It was a little tired and needed a little further attention to detail and a thorough clean. Perhaps bedside tables in the second bedroom might have been a helpful addition as well as a full complement of kitchen utensils.

We had a lovely holiday. The pools, garden and surroundings were very good as was the location.The heated pool was a great at the end of the day. The manager Michael was very helpful and attentive when we had a couple of maintenance issues in our apartment. The issues were attended to very promptly.

The hotel was a little dated . The balcony was dangerous.

We did enjoy our stay at Genesis. When we arrived we did find our room a little dirty so we let Michael know about it and he apologised and sent someone up to the room straight away to clean again. The view was amazing, and really close walk to cavil Ave. The staff were really helpful and lovely to talk to . Thankyou for our stay .

There were a couple of things that we weren't overly happy with. Only 1 aircon for the whole apartment which struggled to reach the bedrooms making it too warm to sleep comfortably. The blind/curtains in the bedrooms let daylight in making rooms quite bright of an early morning. Only 2 of the hotplates on the cooktop worked making cooking for a family a little challenging. The light switch for the ensuite randomly turned the light on in kids room occasionally which woke them during night time bathroom visits. All of which were bought to attention of management. We have stayed here previously and thoroughly enjoyed it, hence staying again. We will stay again, although next time I will try booking for the room we had first time.
