Had to request a towel twice and still didn't get one. There was 3 of us and only two towels were given. Also had to request shower gel as there was none left in the bottle upon arrival. Didn't think the receptionist was overly friendly when checking in.

at breakfast at first we’re not going to allow us to have breakfast . they said it was booked out even though we were told you couldn’t book and if we turned up early as we did at 8am we would have no problem . we were also told that people staying had priority ? we were able to get in after really pressed the point ! but was disappointing we got conflicting information

We had a few technical issues - I ordered breakfast on the in-room ipad & the order did not go through (it didn't turn up then I called them & they said the order was 'not successful'). The next day I ordered breakfast verbally over the phone, and again, something happened & it was 'not successful'. Also I somehow got double-charged for my parking (which was sorted out afterwards by a lovely staff member).

For comfort, cleanliness and modern facilities and rooms, I was impressed. The beds were VERY comfy & aircon was excellent, which are my 2 main bug bearers when staying in hotels. Block out curtains were great. Pool & spa downstairs was lovely. Access to cafe and restaurant were also great.

I prefer to focus on the positives.

The location is perfect for me - close to the beach for morning walks and a direct commute to my mothers nursing home - the reason for my visit.

The bathroom needs an exhaust fan for when you're in the shower.. Also Charging 15 to 20% on a public holiday for Drinks is a bit steep speacialy when u pay great money to stay there..Plus Charging a labour fee to remove the Mini bar It's part of a service that we pay for in our stay ..They need to tell u when u book the Parking is an on top cost before you book your reservations not when you check in.

Food at Yamagan was brilliant but service was extremely slow and staff on most part were inattentive or rude. One of our dishes we weee told there would be a delay of 20-30 mins, we then had to follow this up 1.5 hours later with no real apology for the extreme wait.

The location was great, rooms spacious and clean. Pool area was a bit too busy, would be good to see if this good be looked at. Breakfast was ok but nothing amazing, poolside food was great as were the staff - fast and attentive.

Room wasn't as clean as we would expect. Staff, with the exception of the Irish person on reception at check-out, were less than helpful. Seemed to be more interested in how they looked than providing any level of service

The usual QT cool decor, decent pool area and selection of restaurants and bars on site. Large room and bed, great ocean view from the balcony

The limited amount of seats & cabanas by the pool, considering how many people the hotel could accommodate at any one time. On a nice day families would struggle to get enough space for them to sit.

The staff were exceptional from reception to bar to room service. The food was great and drinks were fabulous. Great location, clean, great views on the beach side and comfy.

Very loud. Beach view had a loud buzzing noise until 10:30 and windows did not block out traffic. Rooms need touch ups - room 910 has some strange rusty in the bathroom.

The pool, friendly service and staff. Great atmosphere.
