How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Needs very slight maintenance.
Awesome view and directly on the beach. Rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable and the best pillows I have had in a room.

Ground floor unit so couldn’t keep doors open at night and the air con was too cold and fan in main bedroom was too fast on lowest setting so couldn’t have them on BUT we survived in a lovely unit in a lovely place

Level 3 - Cupboards and draws could definitely do with rubber stoppers on them as they would slam everytime the draws/ cupboard were closed. Parking very tight (not the staff or owners issues) for any other vehicle that wasn’t a small hatchback for example. Again not the staff issue. Glass sliding doors that fence the bedroom off to the bathroom would come loose - easy fix but didn’t overly affect using them as worked around that. Level 3 - would much prefer a wooden table as the dining table, glass makes you super worried about using it as much easier to break over a wooden one. The Leather couch in the lounge area is starting to feel a bit old and worn, the fabric underside material is coming off and showing signs of wear and lots of use but not too bad considering. Level 1 - key would jam for the outside door (not door to open unit) and couldn’t be used. One stage we got locked out due to this as we didn’t take both sets of keys. Lucky staff were on hand to assist, thanks. We just had to make sure we took both keys each time we left, again staff helpful with this. Parking extremely tight as the owners next door has both their cars in their parking bay and they had a large 4x4 so it made it really hard to get out. We had lots is insects and ants in our apartment. We out it down to the weather, again not the hotels fault and we just dealt with it and had to make sure we had no food out for the ants to destroy.
We stayed in 2 different rooms - 4 x nights in level 3 then 3 x nights in a ground floor apartment. Level 3 - great location, large, spacious, nice clean linen and extra pillows definitely came in handy, welcoming staff. Great location to walk to food and beaches. Level 1 - direct access to the pool was a great advantage. Loved the wooden dining table, much prefer this over a glass one. You feel like you have to be extra careful due to being glass. Bed much comfier than room 2 - room 1 but too soft. Loved that both apartments had a washing machine and dryer with sachets of power for 2 washes. Loved we could drop off our 10c cans and the money was going to the local marine rescue! Great incentive to drop them there.

The room was neat, tidy and clean. Our air con was not working when we arrived so I went to reception and they were very prompt with attending to the situation and it was fixed immediately.

Some limitations in utensils/kitchenware for the kitchen. Balcony had a light out and could have done with a little more light to enjoy. Foxtel was available however none of the channels worked.
The location was fantastic. View of the ocean was wonderful from the ground floor apartment. Apartment was larger than expected and best were very comfortable.

The room could have done with a little bit of a spruce up. Still great but some of the walls were a bit scuffed etc. Didn't bother us at all though.
Superb views of the ocean. Apartment was well set out and very comfortable. The entire apartment was roomy and had everything we required. Would definitely stay again. Close to all of the local shops cafes and amenities. Loved having a TV in the bedroom as well. Pool was awesome.

The apartment badly needs maintenance the paint was peeling of ceilings inside and out and blinds need to be replaced.
Location and gardens and pool area was great.
