There were only two male showers for the entire place, so when the previous users made a mess, it's kinda hard to avoid it.

The venue was not overcrowded like most backpackers. The kitchen was quite spacious as well.

I think this whole place has a great potential and could be much more better with just little and not too expensive things to change like: I would appreciate a lamp in a room as the main light was too bright to use it at night. This room would also need to grease the panties at the door - that would make all moves from room and into room more quiet. Whole place is located really nice and its clean - just need a bit of "love and good feel vibe".

Reasonable price, very good location, kitchen was very well equipped, comfortable bed and good cleanliness of place.

Minor con- would have loved a coin dispenser as i never had any cash to use the laundry.

Very easy to get to, plain and simple. Convenience stores near, public transport right outside, as well as eateries at walking distance. Self service Wi-Fi was easy to setup. No big negatives at all

The particular bed I had ,had a piece of pointy metal sticking out. I could really feel it when Im on top of it.

I got a room with a shower, but the pressure was very weak, there was also no way to make the water warm it was either very hot shower or cold.

Comfortable beds! Very good communication from the manager! I asked for a late check out because my flight was not in till 1:50pm, I wasn’t able to but he offered for me to store my luggage there for the day! Was a big relief to be able to store there as I got to explore the city more without the hassle of a suitcase.

Really small single bed room and there is always an oily smell. For A$95 per night I’m able to stay in pretty good shared apartment in Canberra and Adelaide City even cheaper. Wi-Fi costs A$1 per day. There's a liquor store nearby, drunks are often encountered, and the smell of urine is common - but that's not this hotel's fault.

Friendly and helpful staff. Acceptable single bed room for solo traveller to sleep, acceptable bathroom cleanliness. Although I didn’t use it, the kitchen was fully equipped. Red CAT bus stop opposite the gate, really convenient. Can easily find something for meal in a less than 2 minutes walk - try the kebab nearby!

My door hinges were extremely noisy! Lots of flies in the kitchen. All crockery was odd and so was the cutlery. No hooks for clothes in the room. Dining chairs were odd and some high and some low.

Location was good. Despite no AC the room was still comfortable during the extreme heatwave. Common fridges were large.

Location is perfect. The Red Cat Bus line is just outside the front door connecting you for free to all parts of the city via the different coloured Cat bus lines. The space is no frills but hey you didn’t expect 5* star. Bed is comfortable, A/C is ideal for the hot days. WIFI is $5 for a week but is fast and reliable. Staff are friendly and efficient. Would stay here again for a no frills no dramas attached stay.

Never used self check in before so that was a bit faceless. My arms in a cast - didn't realise no elevator, so lugging bags upstairs was tricky. Needs a lick of paint . Thin blanket - bring warm PJs!

Great to have staff stop and chat - made it more welcoming. Great lot with The Sansrival cafe up the road. Cool breeze out the back in the eating area. Comfy bed. Luggage storage available.

The rooms were quite dated, and could do with a freshen up.

The location was perfect - free bus service right outside the hostel, into the centre of Perth. Easily walkable too!
