Just a few things were missing that could have made our stay nicer: Dish soap for hand washing dishes (we donated some) Salt and pepper, oil, etc - some basic pantry items Al foil or baking paper The shampoos/toiletries were of pretty low quality. You often get nicer things in an Airbnb. The sheets were a cotton/polyester blend

The location is great, the pool was nice, and the apartment was very spacious and clean. The balcony was a nice place to sit. The television was easy to hook up to Netflix too. The parking was easy and undercover and the host was nice.

Dishwasher had broken glass inside it. Once we cleaned it out, the dishwasher wouldn’t turn on.

Apartment a bit old, washing machine dirty and rusty, shower rose rusty, toilet in ensuite makes a awful noise when filling and sliding doors rattle badly with wind.

not much stuff to clean with. No cloths provided to wipe up a spill or anything cockroaches in the rooms when we walked in place wasn’t the cleanest

Unfortunately the property is aged considerably and is in need of substantial repair & renovation, especially to meet the expectations of a $300 a night booking. Overall the property was looking very sorry and poor which was unfortunate given it boasts a pool, mineral spa and sauna and tennis court. Inside the apartment you can see it is in need of a full repaint, damage to walls and doors patched and sanded but needing painting,: fixtures and fittings are rusted and damaged. Whilst it has everything it says it does and nothing was not working for $300 a night you could expect a little more quality for the price. We did not spend a lot of time there due to sporting commitments during the day however if we had used it more as a holiday weekend we’d have likely been more disappointed just due to these factors and the price paid. I feel management do the best they can with a dated property in serious need of TLC.

It was a lovely location with very friendly management who were great to deal with. It was lovely and quiet and offered a beautiful pool to relax in after a big day.

Enjoyed our stay at headland Gardens. Our room was vell stocked with everything needed for a short stay at the beach. However, the Beds in Unit 4 are very saggy and uncomfortable, waking with sore back and neck every day. The bathroom is rather dated and no longer able to be cleaned properly, however totally functional, with a large washer and dryer and laundry tub . This is a ground foor garden apartment and it has new fluffy carpet (why, pool and sand....) but it's a brown colour and adds to the very dark dungeon feeling you get when you enter with very little natural lught available. Kitchen also dated, but very well stocked, appliances all worked perfectly. furniture ( except beds) is all comfortable and functional. Units are privately owned, and I've been in a different unit, and it was super modern, light, and bright with new furniture and appliances. Most units appear to be permanent residences, not holiday stays, so it was very quiet. It is in easy walking distance to shops and restaurants/ cafes in both directions. I walked with my young children to mooloolaba and to the coles and carried groceries back. The surf club for swimming, dinner coffee, and a playground was a simple 5 min walk. Very convenient location! I would return to headland gardens again, and have no qualm recommending to other visitors.

Manager was amazing, so happy and helpful. Pool was great for children.

No elevator. Had to walk up and down stairs with our luggage, although the Manager kindly assisted us when we first arrived. Would not recommend Headland Gardens for elderly tourists but very suitable for younger folk.

The apartment we stayed at had dusty blinds and ceiling fans, stains on quilts and dirty bathroom drains. It was a bit tired but it doesn’t mean all of their apartments are like this.
