Fabulous location. So quiet, rainforest sounds all around. Creek with swimming holes 2 minute walk away. Continental breakfast was fresh and generous.

Property old and in need of some repair - holes in fly wires, rotting wood in verandah.

    Love surroundings and beautiful gardens.

The room was not great - air conditioning poor and the shower facilities ordinary

Probably the best dinner we had on our entire trip. The duck was superb and the run and raison ice cream was brilliant.

Although the food was beautiful, a few cheaper options would be good for families. Staying for 3 nights we spent a fortune on dinners. Didn't seem to be any other options in the area.

Swimming in creek was amazing. Well run resort. Food was divine.

Restaurant and bar area lacked a bit of a cosy atmosphere. Those locations are in the open air so it can also get a bit cold at night.

The cabin we stayed at was a lot more luxurious than expected. I loved what they did with it! It was cool to go for some small walks and see the lagoons onsite. Felt like an adventure. Stargazing is also really nice to do when it's so dark, if you dare to switch off your flashlight in the pitch dark with some jungle sounds around you.. You get a flashlight and umbrella to borrow during your stay there. Convenient that there's a restaurant onsite, you don't want to drive in the dark in the jungle. I loved the DVDs they supply to watch in your room.

The only comment would be that the double bed was a bit worn out.

Heritage Lodge is a haven in the beautiful rainforest. We were especially surprised to find the restaurant serving such excellent meal. The owners and staff were outstandingly friendly. A bonus was the river flowing just below the resort. A cool swim and a long walk along the river bed were very refreshing.

Not the most comfy beds, breakfast was pretty basic, It needed a place to go to on site with kids other than your room or restaurant when it rained. Some more food prep facilities in the rooms would be great eg. microwave/toaster, plates etc for families with kids.

Location was central to explore the area, dinner at the restaurant and outlook over the creek was amazing, The room was clean and surrounding rainforest was great to explore. Kids loved the frogs in the pool at night.

Nothing - we loved it !

Authentic rainforest experience. Even in winter it is warm and humid. Staff do the best they can to keep humidity out of bedrooms but inevitably things are slightly damp. The air conditioning is v good. Rooms were clean and well maintained. This is not a city centre hotel so don’t expect it to be. It has a unique charm. Enjoy the break from the outside world ! Staff very helpful, owner friendly- we loved the happy hour and board games. Dinner was fabulous with amazing choices - very impressed ! Breakfast was continental style with warm freshly baked bread - delicious ! Thanks for an unforgettable stay 😊
