Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaWe were looking forward to using the sauna but it didn’t work, went to the front desk they said just push the button but both of could not get it to work. In the end we sat in it for a while pretending it was working while smelling the cedar. LOL

AustraliaIn room facilities were lacking such as a microwave but no bowls, plates, knives or forks- dish washing liquid but no plug. Minimun tea and coffee supplies only. No fly screen on bathroom window- should be an easy and cheap fix while protecting customers for mozzies and bugs.
The rooms were very spacious and the hotel had good parking available.

AustraliaFront stage lady wasn't not helpful at all, she was not just inefficient, but pretty rude. The hotel have requested $100 AUD bond when checking-in, and they circle the money for a whole week after you've checked out. They've set a lot of rules regarding bond, which stressed us very much. We were also given a room 1000 miles away from the elevator, when there are actually other rooms available. The room was on a floor which the elevator doesn't get to, so we needed to walk up and down stairs over and over during out stay. Furthermore, the hallway was totally dark, even emergency lights were off, which I believe was illegal. Also, you can hear all sort of noise throughout the night, so if you need a good night sleep, this is probably not the place for you.
Location was good, price is fair, room was clean.

Things typically assumed to be provided at a motel stay incurred additional fees or only at request (housekeeping, later checkin, fresh towels, empty bins etc). Owner at breakfast cafe yelled at the cook in front of customers (including children).

AustraliaA light bulb was out that would have been useful. The TV kept freezing and we informed staff, they told us they would replace it the next day but that didn't happen. They had to leave the wall cover panel down as we had to keep turning it off at the power point as we couldn't turn it off or change anything with the remote. The taps need to be replaced as it was difficult to get the temperature right in the bath/shower/sink. We accidentally slammed the door with its automatic shutter and were also woken up by the next rooms door been slammed early.
The beds were comfy, the room was big enough, liked having the bath tub and the shower. Was good having secure and quiet parking with kids.

AustraliaThe room smelt of cigarette smoke. There were minimal amenities in the room - cups, cutlery etc, There were young kids playing in the courtyard at 11 pm, which was very noisy. The carpet in the walkway was very dirty. It needs some TLC but the new owners are very pleasant. They need more staff rather than trying to do everything themselves
The restaurant and bar were excellent. Great value. The staff were very friendly. The bed was comfortable. The view was nice. Good car parking - no extra cost

AustraliaThe late fee- some might believe it’s a good idea however I phoned ahead to discuss a late check in. I was advised they don’t do a late check in and I would be charged a late fee. Even tried explaining the late check in reason however it was not accepted. The lady at reception also tried to charge me again for our room I was thankful to realise before paying the amount which was not told to me I had to check myself again not a huge problem, but unpleasant…

AustraliaIt was a maze to find the room. Was hard to find a direct route to the car park from the room without using the lift. The lift broke one time. I was too afraid to use it after that. There was mould in the bathroom. The fire alarm was going off one day. Even though it was no smoking people were still smoking on the balcony. Not hotels fault but might need to set up smoking locations and put up more signs. The bins in the car park stunk, had to hold my breath walking to the car. There was no toaster in the room. The cattle broke after i used it first time. For the whole 5 days we were there our room was not cleaned at all and our towels were not changed.
Location was good. A bit hard to find at first but with Google's help it was all good. Not far from the shopping center with woolies and aldi. Only down the road from the theme parks.

AustraliaWe had no smoke alarm in our room and part of the building outside had fallen off and there was a huge chunk just laying there on the patio. The night we stayed there all the alarms went off, no one was worried or told to leave. The fire department came, made our boys night they got stickers
Food was good just on the small side. Pool area and view were amazing. Would go back again if with the small problems we had.
