Accommodation is starting to look a bit tired. Sink was cracked and plenty of scuffs. Accommodation is also quite dark with not much natural light. Calling it a cottage is a bit misleading, more like a small boutique hotel room. Never had any contact with a single staff member the entire time, whilst some people would have liked that, I felt it was a bit impersonal.

Nice location, very central to the Barossa. Pretty surrounds.

A grab rail next to the shower that was over the spa bath would have been helpful when getting in/out. One of the bedside lights wasn’t working. Draught exclusion around the door would also be a great addition.

The cottage was very close to where the people we were visiting lived. It was roomy and tastefully decorated.

No cooking facility other than microwave and toaster. Bathroom was not very functional with sink at opposite end from mirror. Shower was good but my pet hate is a shower in a bath. We couldn't get TV in bedroom to work.

Location was great and loved the cellar door being so close. Comfy bed for a good nights sleep. Separate lounge, bedroom and bathroom. The staff in the cellar door were super friendly and helpful, and the wines were delish! It was a lovely surprise to have a gift of a bottle of shiraz in the cottage.

The bathroom needed attention, the cleanliness was a little disappointing as was the crack in the bathroom wall which allowed a fair bit of noise to come through from the cottage next door. The shower over the spa wasn’t great because it was difficult to stop water from going all over the bathroom floor as there was no shower curtain. The bathroom definitely needs to be renovated badly.

The location was great, very quiet & the surrounds were very peaceful. The bed was very comfortable, it was a pleasant little cottage. A lovely complimentary bottle of wine.

We thought it was on the pricey side. But you get what you pay for and they are heavily booked so have priced it appropriately.

It was very clean, loved the central location and the premises. Considering you're in the middle of a complex of cellar door and offices, it is still a very attractive venue to stay at, with no conflict between the various uses. While the three units share walls they're thick stone so no sound carried through. While a studio room without a kitchen isn't our preferred type of accommodation, that is what we booked. And we can't come up with any suggestions for improvement of that form of accommodation, hence the high rating. We had almost no interaction with staff, but what little we had was friendly and efficient.

The bugs, the property is in the country so of course there's a few crawlies around but the property leaves bug spray for you.

Robyn was fantastic and went over and above to make our stay great. Cute little cottages, very comfy bed.
