How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Really small thing - That the bedroom door didn’t lock
Great apartment nice and tidy and quite big. Kids spent most of their time in the pool and games area

Pillows were flat. We had to borrow some decent ones from my parents at Mooloolaba. My son wound up with a crook neck after the first night. There’s no screen on the master bedroom window. Some dowel would be great so that we could open them.

The only thing I could fault were the pillows which were very soft and high which were not very comfortable. Everything else was perfect.
Beautifully styled apartment and great location. Really good value for money, we would definitely stay here again.

Only an aircon in loungeroom. None in bedrooms which at 32° in march was sweltering for kids. Baby couldn't sleep due to heat. And we are from nth qld so used to hotter heat but couldn't get comfortable temp in unit. Mop but no bucket. Vacuum attachments but no vacuum. Sadly lack of aircon a downside if you need to close bedroom doors so you can't get an airflow.
Location and unit size perfect. Facilities great. Would stay again but only in cooler weather. Unit was beautifully presented and maintained. Manager absolutely fantastic. Pool beautiful. Clean. Large unit. Had washer dryer. 2 bathrooms.

We weren’t happy in the inability to get tv statins at times, it had guides for foxtel etc but couldn’t get them to work at all. Our bedding was obviously old as there was a tear in the top sheet.
We liked that it was close to great restaurants, a nice beach and shops. The heated pool and spa were lovely and kept really sparkling clean. We also liked that car parks were allocated,making it easy to get in and out. There was a washer and dryer in the apartment which we made good use of.

The description wasnt clear about air conditioning. There was only one aircon in the living room but rooms were hot and ceiling fans but didn’t help much. There were low amenities supplied such as toilet paper rolls. It was a stay for 5 people for two nights and due to limited reception hours we didn’t know where to get more toileteries. Also, the unit was visibly an old construction so i think a lil extra cleaning would be great for that unit. The wardrobe doors were too stiff to open.
Location was great, super close to the beach and restaurants. The unit was quite spacious but visibly old construction. We were greeted by James and he was lovely and made sure we found our unit.

It had a musty smell. It didn’t feel or appear clean. Furniture(Kitchen chairs & arm chairs)were all stained. There was a dirty cloth left under the sink, mop was filthy. Vents in the bathroom & toilet were full of thick dust. Toilet holder broken. Pillows had stained protectors on them, spare pillows were all stained. Cover on the main bed was dirty.
The location was great. A good sized pool. Well priced for peak season.

Excellent location, walking distance to patrolled beach and shops & restaurants. Quiet apartments, comfortable beds. Extra pillows in each room. Really well stocked, full sized kitchen. 2 bathrooms very welcome. Warm, lovely clean pool. Tennis and basketball court. Great sized apartment and big couch too!

Absolutely nothing.
Fabulous location on the boarder of Alexandra Headland and Maroochydore. I was able to check in a couple of hours early which is always appreciated. Car was secure in the carpark. The pool was cleaned daily, the gardens and grounds are beautiful. The apartment itself is a little old but everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the ammenities needed to cook basic meals. The apartment was huge and the outlook was beautiful being able to see the water from the living area. Showers had great water pressure and lots of hot water.

Only downside was about 10 min walk to patrolled beach.
Great base for multiple families holiday. Enough shops and restaurants nearby. Lovely beach across the road. We enjoyed the small pool, spa and bbq area. Room well stocked.

Some old fixtures and a musty smell at times.
The location was great with easy access to the beach. The apartment was roomy and had everything we needed for a family holiday although some fixtures eg shower screen needed replacing. Staff friendly and helpful.
