We would have enjoyed to have breakfast available until a longer time in the morning.

It can be pretty noisy between units and on the bottom floors. Unfortunately, the gentleman at registration is professional and efficient but not friendly AT ALL. The evening staff are the complete opposite, super friendly, but during our stay we encountered the unfriendly man mostly and were afraid to even ask him a question. He upgraded my Mom which was very nice, so I hate to complain about him, but we had 3 rooms and he treated each of us the same. At least he’s consistent I guess.

Great location, very clean, decent parking. Lots of nice outdoor areas to enjoy the weather. Quick safe walk to the beach.

Really clean and modern suite - we were upgraded! The room was in excellent condition, has been very tastefully decorated and is well equipped. The location is great, only a short walk to the beech and close to State Street - the heart of Santa Barbara. After three weeks of travelling , it was useful to have access to a washing machine and tumble dryer. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Coffee, fruit and biscuits are available all the time. Excellent place to stay in up-market Sant Barbara.

The staff were so kind and helpful. They even upgraded our room for free. We really liked staying here and would definitely recommend. The cookies were so good and location was perfect, really close to the beach.

This property is very well cared for. The rooms are small & basic but very clean. It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room. We would use this hotel again. It is very affordable.

The single rooms don’t have refrigerators

I love that check in and check out we’re so flexible . Takes out the stress of getting in and out at a certain time . It was on a beautiful , quiet street so close to everything and the atmosphere was peaceful and comfortable .

The pool was a little lackluster and had a fair amount of debris in it, but I still enjoyed getting a little sun poolside.

Enjoyed my stay here! Perfection location, only a couple blocks from the beach!The staff was wonderful, in particular Ben, with welcoming me and accommodating my room request. The room itself was super clean (always my top priority in a hotel stay), spacious, and comfortable. Would def stay here again!

The property is located one street back from the front and pier area of Santa Barbara. The neighborhood was quiet and parking on site was no problem. The suite booked had 2 bedrooms and a well appointed kitchen area. Coffee was on tap in the lobby area & there were fresh cookies every afternoon. The pool on site was warm. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. For the tour we did the Franciscan represented the best value inn we stayed at.

Perfect location - 3 minutes walk from the ocean. The staff looked after me well, I loved the free coffee/cookies on the front desk. Ben helped me book a taxi as I was leaving in the early hours, and there's a great Mexican restaurant nearby. Bed was super comfortable, bathroom especially clean, I had a lovely stay here. Secure and spotless!
