We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaCould hear neighbors through wall when trying to sleep and same in the morning from the main bedroom. Cockroaches coming in from the balcony were a problem. They oven dial markings were worn off. The milk in the fridge, although unopened, curdled when used in coffee on first use despite being in date. There was construction going on the Main Street , only during work hours.
Good location and clean, could see beach from balcony. Good supply or kitchen utensils/pots/pans and dishwasher. Very comfy beds with multiple pillow options.

AustraliaCommunication was lacking as staff left it to the day of arrival to try and contact us to provide directions on how to access the unit complex. We were driving through some areas without service so contact was made difficult. The security gate to prevent children from accessing the main road was defective so children could open the gate with a little push. There are no dyers provided so more clotheslines downstairs would be a good addition to manage being able to dry clothes in a timely manner.
A great location to the beach and the centre of town well positioned to access either beach or the Lenox lake area. The pool was a good size all associated outdoor furniture was in good condition.

AustraliaRegional NSW was declared a red zone by our Victorian government and we had to leave 4 days accommodation behind. Even though they reimbursed one night because they sold it, they refused to provide a refund or voucher for the other three nights so we lost $810. Given we were told that the apartments are nearly always booked out, we thought it was fairly miserable that we were not refunded our money. Very disappointing
