Damp musty smell

Room smelt a little musty. Access would have been tricky if we'd brought our (very heavy) suitcases - and a car.

Convenient location (5 minutes' drive from our son's flat). Comfy bed, clean sheets. Easy check-in/out.

We couldn’t find the ac remote but was not a bother

Great location to where we needed to be. Was clean cute little garden room. Beds were comfortable and the couple were very lovely. Yes the drive was is steep to drive up but had nil issues getting out of there

Water pressure in the showers was quite low. There was a slightly stale smell at times, as if there might have been some old water damage.

Great location at a great price. Bed was super comfy and we slept wonderfully. Chris and Helen were wonderful hosts.

Driveway into the property was very steep with unsteady paved bricks. I didn't drive to the property but would feel nervous doing so.

Heat lamps in the shower. Heated electric mattress topper - all great for winter. Mini fridge, toaster, microwave and kettle made eating cheaply easy. Good location for visiting lane Cove and hunters Hill. Owners were great. Bus stop right outside.

The driveway was very steep, and it wasn’t an easy place to find as it was off a main road and we don’t come from Sydney.

Only tea herbal tea coffee Vegemite was provided. Eggs and milk were also provided.

A short trip to Sydney but Linley House was perfectly located for our purpose of visiting family in Hunters Hill. The twin room was an ideal size for two people and our beds particularly comfortable.

We are elderly and with mobility issues so a steep driveway was a challenge but this is clearly identified in the property description. A grab rail for access/egress from a raised tiled shower recess would have been welcome. Location suited our visit purpose very well but being from interstate we had no car and whilst it was only a twenty minute walks to shops and restaurants it was a bit too far for us and again this was purely down to our circumstances.

Lovely private setting with pretty courtyard garden outlook. Very convenient for bus right outside property. Nice waterfront walks nearby. Hosts really lovely and accommodating. The electric blanket was welcome on our cold nights stay in August.

the driveway was quite steep so a concern when reversing out in the morning. Help to navigate was offered however, I managed.

It was a warm welcome from the hosts.. I didn't have breakfast so unable to comment on that.

Glass sliding door wouldn't lock but the screen door did. Hosts need to be mindful not to walk in during a stay. My daughter was surprised when in the bathroom when a host tried to walk in the bathroom. Easy mistake but perhaps negotiate any entrance into the apartment during a stay.

Location of the property was lovely. A private little apartment with its own entrance and a nice nook to sit outside. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Walking up and down that steep driveway, especially when it was wet, was a bit scary.

The parking was crowded and a bit awkward. But, that didn’t detract from the overall experience.

The personal and hospitable service of the host went above and beyond what you expect in the hospitality industry. The host really made you feel welcome and nothing was a bother. A personal offer of an early morning call was reassuring.

The entrance to get directly to the rooms by car is a complete disaster. Extremely steep and narrow, I personally find it dangerous. If it rains, your car will slip on the way down.

It‘s old Style but the Beds are comfortable. Helen was super friendly and helpful.

Very steep driveway which can be challenging in car or by foot. Small accommodation. I appreciate my privacy and this needs to be respected.

The location was good for my needs, but you do need a car (in my opinion) to get to other parts of Sydney. It was quiet and secluded.

Very steep driveway, had to reverse down to house next door to turn in forward direction to exit property. Not for everyone especially if you had a large car. Its an older style property, which needs a make over and update. Had a stale smell as there are no windows, only the front sliding doors. Friendly, polite gentleman looked after us.
