Very dated property (although the exterior is currently being renovated). Bathroom isn’t practical with shower in the bath. It really needs a Reno and update to the rooms. The bed and pillows were too firm. I asked for a mattress topper and none available.

Location is great. Pool area was good. Size and layout of room good.

Staff on arrival not very friendly. The bathroom needs upgrading. It's very difficult to get in and out of bathtubs. Who has them these days.

We needed somewhere close to the Darwin Memorial so we could attend the Dawn Service It was ideal location. The staff member who served us on arrival was lacking in customer service, but the guy who served us on leaving was excellent.

Hotel is being renovated. Maid service was not provided during five night stay. Hotel was very basic, nothing more.

Location of hotel was good. Room did not have a balcony so view was merely ok. Basic hotel room amenities were provided.

Beds were hard and not very comfortable as were the pillows, when looking for another pillow none were available in my room. Whoever next morning when asking mum and sister if they had spare pillows one replied with having ; extra pillows in her cupboard and the other saying around 3. Bathrooms may need attending too, shower heads very old and when in use spraying in all directions (hard to enjoy)

Love that it fit for my family, rooms were very spacious, lounge room was nice and spacious also, once we walked in smelt really nice and fresh. Close to event location and being in city

They need to leave the wfi password in the room somewhere fix air-conditioning to cold and fix fridge frozen every thing in the fridge

Food service close Entrance to pool blocked off due to reno and had to walk out the front of hotel and around A lot of mould around the outside door and balconies of most rooms, that appeared to have not been clean for sometime. Should be able to smoke on balcony

The airconditioning is very cold and you cannot control the temperature in an individual room. I borrowed a cardigan. There is no restaurant at the moment but I had a 1 bedroom apartment so it really wasn’t an issue.

Whilst the rooms are old and a bit tired , mine was clean and the bed very comfortable.

Great location, views of harbour and walking to main streets, bars, shops and waterfront. Pool very clean.

I paid extra for a water view but the metal louvers and very dirty windows obscured what view there was. It wasn’t a hotel - no bar, no breakfast facilities. The pool looked nice but it was a walk down through the office like foyer, into the car park next to the road.

Location great. I had a lovely walk along the esplanade. The fish feeding was also close. Loved the signage and stories along the pathways telling the history of Darwin.

Struggle to understand staff at reception + confusion where to check in/check out. Room small with only 1 armchair

Despite having attempted to explain my group's composition and the room configurations required three times, they still had it wrong when we checked in. So that tool longer than expected and meant others had to wait for service

No fresh air in room due to window not opening.

We had a lively room with sea views but you couldn't open the window for fresh air. Good sized fridge provided. No housekeeping so had to phone for towels and anything else required. Good central location for walking or using public transport.

The internet service available was very poor. Was very unreliable and would drop out. Very badly signed. Until you are in the lobby there is no Mantra signs!

Clearer instructions from first booking re after hours access. We were delayed and had to seek out this information. The morning we left (at 6.30am) there was a woman waiting outside who slept at the airport because he plane had arrived late.
