We rented a two bedroom cottage which had everything we needed. Although only a short drive from Margaret River town we felt very much in the bush surrounded by the owners lovely menagerie of animals which visitors can feed and interact with each morning.

Some of the cottage were a little run down and too small but overall we were extremely happy coming back again.

The animals are really happy there. This is something we love to see. We get to interact with the animals all day.

The shower stall was a little tight for my husband but otherwise it was comfortable. There are two sinks in our bathroom which was helpful!

Interactive activities like communal fire, feeding the animals, animals were next to you at night so you can watch them sleep, also the owners would proactively WhatsApp you and provide tips on what to do. There were cooking facilities which wasn't available in other places I stayed in Margaret River

One word to describe our stay: magical. If you're looking for a true farm stay where animals roam freely and can be fed by hand, and where you're surrounded by the beautiful Australian countryside with wild kangaroos being easily spotted, yet 5" from Margaret River town center, this is it! We really enjoyed spending the evening there after a day of activities - plenty to do for kids: cuddling the animals, games room (vintage Pacman machine that works, playground... And the bonus movie under the stars night on Saturdays! Lovely stay, exactly what we were looking for as a family. The kids were almost crying when we left... And, the beds are really comfy so we all slept really well.

we loved the animal feeding in the morning. feeding baby kangaroos and sheep at the bottle, patting the donkeys and alpagas. our cottage was very comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen. kids loved to wander around to spot green birds and kangaroos. Andrew, the owner, showed treasures of patience, explaining all about the animals every day.

The property is very clean and comfortable. It has everything you need. The staff were amazing, so friendly and accommodating. Our girls loved feeding the animals and watching a movie outdoors. The pool was a big hit too! We really enjoyed our stay here.

Great location near the Centre of Margaret River. Fully equipped cottages with kitchenware, clean and beautifully decorated. We were able to cook, and do our laundry. Farm has fun filled activities packed out, such as heated pool, playground and animal feeding.

Andrew the owner was a fabulous host. We loved that there was plenty of activities to entertain our child as well as us adults but also that it allowed us some downtime. We were in one of the cottages that faced the play area which was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

Communication with property owners - detailed updates, took the effort to contact me directly prior to check in and made sure our stay was good Owners were very warm and friendly Nice facilities around the cottage and good enough for us to just explore the farm for the day We can spend as much time as we want with the animals as long as the weather permits Beds came with electric blankets tt helped keep us warm during the cold nights Love the fireplace to toast marshmallows!

The property is only a short drive from the centre of town but secluded enough to make it feel like a rural stay. Internet connection is good for those who don't want to go completely off grid. The hosts were engaging, with daily animal feeding for the kids. They were so welcoming, making sure they met us in person to hand over the keys, taking the time for a short farm tour and rundown of the daily schedule as they walked us to our accommodation. Our unit was fully self contained and clean with a modern kitchen. There is lots to do around the property with heated indoor pool, games room, animal petting, bush walks and games/dvd hire. We can't speak highly enough of our stay at Margaret River Cottages!
