Everything was on point for our family of 5adults and 2children. And we were absolutely thrilled to have the side by side Deck area as my wife and I had not been together with our kids and our grandchildren for 3 years and every minute counted.We really do appreciate it.Thankyou Markham court.

For a 10 night stay, and the price, we had expected some basic necessities like enough dishwashing liquid, kitchen cloths, face cloths, bin liners, tea towels etc. Also as a superior apartment, we were a bit disappointed as definitely wasn't what we would considee to be recently renovated and looked nothing like the examples on the website. Apartment was very sparsely furnished, although adequate. Hand rail into spa pool very wobbly and needs fixing.

Great location, beautiful grounds and nice pool. On-site managers were very helpful in addressing a few issues at the beginning of our stay. Apartment was very clean.

On the first night my brother was abused by the owners on the smokers balcony for smoking prescribed medication (in technicality the balcony is considered a PRIVATE smoking area so legally he is allowed to do so, hence why we made sure to get a hotel with one), after that she called me to tell me what has happened, when I explained that it’s medication she then said “I am not silly it doesn’t come like that” so I offered to show the prescription and she refused, she did give him the option to smoke it away from the hotel which he was more than happy to (even though that means he would then HAVE to smoke it in public) but then refused him to be able to come back if he was “intoxicated” by the medication which is quite contradicting. From this all residents stopped smiling back at us, including the owners. On another occasion when sunbathing at the pool the male owner decided to bomb into the pool right in-front of me, splashing me and my phone. He then proceeded to clean the walls of the pool and say hi to the other two people there except me. Overall disgusting and discriminating. Edit: they have replied back and are making out like they weren’t rude during the situation. When my brother was abused about being on the balcony he asked if he could come down and speak to them to sort it out and they were refused. None of it was handled professionally, as we were both happy to have a chat to sort it out. And now is lying about how she did say Good morning to us the next day which is highly incorrect, it’s quite obvious when you smile at someone and they don’t smile back in anyway and glare instead. We have traveled Australia and have never experienced this type of discrimination.

Only the facility’s, other than that staff and other residents where rude and discriminative.

The property had different photos such are of renovated apartment on booking.com. Our expectation was that it'll be the same as advertised, but we were placed in one of the older apartments which looked not even similar to the one on the website. We had a four year old with us which was a bit dificult to swap and change. Also, cancellation policy stated that in terms of any changes or cancellation the host would not return the money paid.

Location is central and close to the beach. We didn't like our apartment.

Un-usable stove-top & cook-ware - it was in such bad, old rusty condition (our unit was #45) which meant we couldn’t cook one meal for our 5 day stay. It would not cost the owners much to replace the oven / cooktop and cookware. Either that or stop advertising it as having a kitchen (not a kitchen if the cookware enamel is scratched & rusty and the stove-top elements are so old they can’t heat up enough to cook food!

Pretty good location and the living room was quite spacious.

The reason I was attracted to this property is that it seemed to have a non-carpet floor & renovated aesthetics - like the first set of photos in the listing. I didn’t check all the photos, simply there were too many & the nicer ones were placed first… If I knew what I was going to get was different from those photos I liked honestly I would’ve not proceeded with my booking. The managers mentioned (after booking) that they would try their best to get me a non-carpet floor which unfortunately didn’t happen. I booked the last unit available so I had no hopes. My family stayed on the ground floor and had sleepless nights due to noises from other units and construction noises were starting early morning as well. When I tried to sleep, I could hear someone doing his/her toilet business in detail… There are some permanent residents in the building and they would get ready early morning - constant footsteps, showers, banging etc. On my first night, a resident rang the intercom in my unit at 2 AM asking for access to the building. How inconsiderate person she was!! My whole family woke up because of that intercom madness. She’s so entitled to ring every unit at 2 AM. I also couldn’t open the balcony doors for fresh air as some people were smoking cigarettes and the smoke would drift into my unit 🤷‍♀️ I’d find elsewhere if your family needs a quiet & relaxing place. The managers were lovely & helpful but I would never come back. It wasn’t a great experience.

For the first time I decided to find an accommodation with a kitchen. And this property had a kitchen. Lovely managers, free parking & internet.

Location , staff, cleanliness, decor, facilities were all excellent. Unfortunately the queen bed was soooo hard. So unfortunately not much sleep was had. (The neighbours above seemed to be walking around all night too😬)

Not worth the money which they charge . Very disappointing.very old carpet , old tv overall found very expensive however staff was friendly and cooperative.

As we stayed on the ground floor at times we could hear the family above us banging things around their apartment.

The location to all the restaurants and cafe's Broadbeach has to offer as well as a quick walk to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and The Star Casino are all an added bonus of our stay at Markham Court. Graham & Kirsty were very friendly and helpful.
