Lack of ventilation causing mould in bathroom and the fact there is no safety for children once you open the windows. Due to bed placement it makes it extremely easy for a child to climb out the window and fall from the second storey which is a concern.

Traffic noise from Parramatta Rd was relentless. Very hard to get a good night’s sleep. Also other patrons slamming doors etc. Very noisy.

Reasonable location for Olympic Park and reasonably priced. Shared bathrooms could use some maintenance.

It's an old pub, and we have stayed in many it was overall very good by comparison, but as like most of them did, we need a little attention/ renovation, but we loved it. It was definitely one of the nicest pub stays we have had, and we have travelled Australia with the kids.

The room was bigger than expected the beds were clean, nice and comfortable and the room was clean and comfy.

A little noisy. Room was adjacent to shared toilets so a lot of movement but that is bad luck. Room could have been bigger and the door was jammed so closing and opening required some effort. There was a joint in the bed so it looked a small bed was assembled to make it bigger

One of the shared toilet for ladies was horrible. It looked like it has not undergone renovations since the 70s. Dim and dirty looking. The other was acceptable as a shared toilet.

I'm not gunna complain about the shared bathroom like others do as you are well aware of that while booking, however, they need a really good deep clean, it wasn't just mess from guests of the day, there's a lot of mould around everywhere and is just generally neglected. Kitchen was pretty bad too. As there was no water coolers or anything I tried to fill up my water bottle from the kitchen, but the sink was completely chochas full of dirty dishes and old gross water. I believe the state of the amenities are the fault of the cleaner who seemed to be there all day but didn't appear to be doing a lot, I even had to tell her there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and instead of refilling the dispenser she just put a roll on the floor, pretty gross and lazy. One last thing just as far as constructive criticism, no matter how softly you try to shut the door behind you, they all slam and you can hear people coming and going with the slamming doors all night, maybe some sort of brackets for the doors that can slow down the closing of them would fix this problem?

Room was nice and clean, bed was comfy. The bar staff and the lady checking people in were great. Being able to order room service for no extra cost (same as the pub pricing) was awesome. Overall a good decent place at a great price to crash for a night.
