It was a little unclean, dust under the beds. We had to get housekeeping to come & split one of the beds into singles, even though it was pre-requested and confirmed.

We were given an accessible room so the shower was a bit inconvenient to use - which was a shame. The floor would get wet as water wouldn’t drain properly. Cost slightly expensive but I think because of Taylor Swift concert (we were not in Sydney for this reason)

There was no broom in our apartment and ventilation could have been better as basic cooking triggered the fire alarm.

The staff were extraordinarily professional, welcoming and helpful from beginning to end of our stay - even in the midst of swifty invasion.

We found the bathrooms in our apartment looked like they had only been half cleaned with rubbish on the floor and in the shower. When we requested a face washer, the property told us they no longer supply face washes due to hygiene reasons. This seems a bit ridiculous as they get washed the same way that towels and hand towels are washed.

The spa pool was not working. No early wake up call (requested the evening before). Not enough power points in the bedroom.

The location in relation to dining/shopping/transport was perfect. The lifts worked quickly between floors. The disabled access bathroom was a real bonus.

My main complaints would be with the functional design of the apartment fit out. The bathroom sinks are installed below the mirrored wall cabinets so you bang your head when trying to brush your teeth or wash your face. The fridge is built into a cabinet with no ventilation so it over heated and the milk went off. The main bedroom and ensuite doors overlapped and banged into each other. The swimming pool and facilities in our tower were out of order and we didn't have access to those in the other tower. There were no light bulbs in the main bedroom bedside lamps when we arrived (the staff brought new ones the next morning).

The staff were fantastic, very friendly and very helpful. We had booked for four people and there were only towels for three but extra towels were brought to us within minutes. The location was really convenient. Only a short walk to Westfield Bondi Junction and directly above Bondi Junction train station from which it is only 10 minutes to Sydney City. The beds were very comfortable which is one of the reasons we love to stay with Meriton. The apartment was large and very comfortable with fantastic views.

On the day that I arrived, a Saturday, I discovered that the clothes dryer did not work. It took until Monday before it was fixed. In the meantime the clothes which I had already laundered remained wet and began to smell of mildew. I had to launder them again.

The coffee pods for the Nespresso machine were not compatible with the machine. We found cigarette butts outside window in second bedroom, we reported it but was not cleaned up during our stay. The power point in the main bathroom was faulty, we reported it at checkout.

We love this location, very convenient to buses and trains, great shopping nearby Bondi beach very close with nice cafes and restaurants. Our room had a beautiful view of the Harbour and city. Beds are very comfortable.

On our first day the AC was not working at all. Made for a very uncomfortable first night. The maintenance man fixed the issue the next day but the thermostats are set at a very warm temperature meaning us cooler climate people are always hot! The AC never really got going in the bedroom so it wasn’t ideal.

Location, location, location! The property was the perfect spot for our family getaway. Perfectly positioned between city and surf with public transport right at the doorstep. The property was clean and our little boy loved the pool every day.

Truly cannot think of a single thing I did not like.

I could’ve just moved into the suite as a permanent residence, it was so clean and well appointed. The location was fantastic…twenty seven minute walk to Bondi Beach and regular trains running from the station below the building. The washing machine and dryer were a great touch. I absolutely would choose Meriton Suites on any return journey to Australia.

We loved the large living area which is beautifully furnished. The two bedrooms were good sized especially the master with not only an en suite but a dressing area, absolutely great! It was spotlessly clean plus we were able to do all our washing as there is a separate utility area.
