How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Outdoor pool was closed & the indoor pool had an incredible amount of chlorine in in - very busy.
Location was good & easy to walk to Cavill st. Apartment was just gorgeous with a stunning view of the ocean.

Please, take this as an feedback to improve rather than a complain. The first entered the room and opened the curtain saw fingerprints on the window. Secondly, I found fingerprints all over the glass and cups which, wasn't checked properly when ex-customer checked out. Thank god we have amenities to start with so, we can clean the dishes ourself. Also, there was leftover soap residues on the showerhandle from previous checkout. The little space, between the main door and the cupboard was also not cleaned as there was hair pins, dust and hairs. So, it would be great if next time these little details will be checked throughly which will enhance the experience of the customers.
The admin staffs were all amazing with lovely smile on their face 24/7, very warm greetings and ready to help at any time. The location was excellent, the view from room was magnificent with city view and beach. Also the neighbour was lively. Also, being provided 24/7 reception desk is what I love the most whenever I book with Meriton that gives me a sense of relief. Besides, the facilities with indoor/outdoor pools, sauna and gym I enjoyed how I could use gym even on my holidays. And ny mom loved the hot water on the pools and sauna❤️

The parking yard (a small walk) was a bit of a pain to have to walk with our stuff as the area out front didn't really cater for you to leave your car there. I think that's only temporary though and definitely wouldn't deter me from staying again.
We requested one of the rooms had 2 single beds instead of 1 king (the beds could be separated) and the room was set up perfectly on arrival. The location was also beautiful and well worth paying a little extra for ocean views!

Not much not to like. Would like to see a proper rewards program for loyal patrons. Would also expect the onsite restaurants to be open 7 days a week. Not a fan of the closed balcony.

There were pieces of fake eyelashes stuck to the tea bags in the kitchen. A bit offputting in regards to hygiene but funny at the same time. Was advised that the room would have a coastal view but could not see any part of the ocean or beach. Paid parking onsite was resevered for people who booked the more expensive room types. Felt a little unfair that we could not pay for onsite parking just because we only needed a small room due to 2 people staying. Would of loved some instant coffee satchets due to the environmental damage caused by using pods. Only dairy milk offerred, no plant based alternatives.
Location was great, a bit outside of the main hustle but an easy walk to restaurants and activites. Staff were friendly. Parking along the esplanade was free on the weekends and often closer than the carpark the reception staff advised you that you could pay for parking at. Was a fair walk from the optional offfsite paid parking so worked out better to fins somewhere to park for free on the Espanade of a weekend. Beds were comfortable. Curtains blocked the light well. Aircon was good and realatively quiet. Coffee pods were provided for machine.

As it is coming on winter the indoor pool and spa could be warmer. The sauna made up for this.
The concierge staff were very helpful and informative on arrival. The room was upgraded without asking prior. The bed was comfortable and the living/kitchen was fantastic.

The outdoor pool was closed for majority of our stay which was quite disappointing as l was hoping to use this area more for tanning or relaxing. This was closed for maintenance most days. Parking was offsite but a short walk. The rooms were spacious and very modern. I would definitely stay again
