We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaReceptionist tried to put us in a room totally different to what was described in our booking with a view of the car park. She didn't want to change it and blamed Booking.com for not giving her the room details. Told us if we went higher in the Hotel, it would cost us more. I showed her our booking details, but she didn't want to change it. A man who was initially at Reception suggested other rooms for us and she finally put us in an apartment with sea, city and pool views on the 3rd floor (pretty much as described on our booking). Kitchen needs a refurb especially taps and flooring; inside oven needed cleaning; and addressed the brown water coming out of the taps and hot water cylinder issue with the Manager on check out. The only cleaning product in the kitchen is dish wash liquid. No hand sanitiser. Restaurant was closed due to the Easter Holidays. Menu looked great. Would have loved to try it.
Lift access from the basement to our apartment was great. Very spacious apartment. View from our room and having a verandah to sit out on outside was good. Bathroom well equipped with toiletries, shaving cream and hand lotion. Great to have a washing machine and dryer but you need to buy laundry powder from reception.

AustraliaOur meal on our first night was disappointing....I had seafood marinara and paid around $40 so expected it would be a good size & excellent quality and quantity of seafood. The pasta tasted stale, the marinara sauce lacked salt, and true mediterranean flavour (not fresh taste) & there were no fish pieces in the combination of seafood..two mussels (tough), 2 scallops (small), two prawns quite fresh tasting nice, and 2 tiny baby octopus pieces (about 5 cms long). Husband said his steak was overcooked, although he always asks for medium rare... other than that was not too bad. Sorry, but for the price, the quality was not up to standard. We are happy to pay for really good fresh food but decided to go elsewhere for the rest of the week. We appreciated the clean towels every day, but it would have been nice to have the floors & bath cleaned at least once during the 9 night stay, as we had been working very hard (dirty & hot when we came home).

AustraliaThe kitchen facilities were lacking. There were no forks in the drawers - only spoons and knives and no tongs. We tried to cook dinner but the frying pan was bent and dented and only some of the hot plates worked.
The apartment was very spacious and in a quiet location.

AustraliaThe place is nice but I had a couple of issues. The parking in the basement is secure but the cigarette smell down there can be overpowering for non smokers sometimes. The other thing was I had room service and possibly the worst Baklava I'd ever had. Hot in a bowl with virtually no crisp filo. Just a bunch of nuts in a syrup dumped in a bowl with ice-cream and a bit of an orange. I don't normally complain about food but this was an insult for $12. However their pork belly is delicious. I guess a chef can't be good at everything.
The view is the first reason I stayed. And I was treated to a great sunset too. The apartment was large and homely. With nice furnishings. Including a washing machine/dryer, and suede couch. The staff are very friendly and I got to change my room when the original booking had noisy air ventilation. The price is reasonable, and the restaurant is pretty good. The bed is comfy, it has a decent shower despite being over a bath, and the location in the middle of town means you can park up and walk to shops, restaurants, the theatre and the harbour front. The room is clean and minimal well stocked.
