Quiet and peaceful, felt like you were the only two people around. The reef and beef meal was fresh and delicious. A nice and relaxing place to unwind. Loved seeing the birds and tree kangaroos throughout the stay.

My only gripes were poor quality DVDs (The Bonfire of the Vanities anyone?) and when I went up to reception to request some more, reception was un-manned and unresponsive on not one but two occasions.

An amazing experience that everybody should encounter at some point during their lives. A “getaway” in the true sense of the word, it’s like living in a different country for 2-3 days. The property itself was incredible, with a bird’s eye view of the tree-kangaroos out the back. The hot tub and the bed were both very comfortable. There were also some nice touches designed for a couple’s retreat, including complementary port, chocolates, scones and even a dual shower!

While having WiFi would have been convenient, it wasn't necessarily missed. In fact, being without it added to the charm of being immersed in the tropical forests, allowing for a genuine disconnect from the digital world.

From the very beginning, the online communication with the staff was easy. When we arrived, there were chickens wandering down the path leading to the cabin. The breakfast selection in the fridge was quite impressive: sausages, eggs, fresh fruit, milk, orange juice, and even some fresh bread with clotted cream and jam. If we had known, we wouldn't have bought our own food beforehand! Despite the unpredictable and rainy weather, the staff at reception were always available to provide us with the latest weather updates, especially since the cabin did not have wifi. The cabin itself was a truly romantic spot: it boasted two showers, a luxurious spa bath, and a veranda with a breathtaking view over the crater. One evening, we even had the pleasure of seeing bats on our balcony! Given its charm, I can completely understand why people would want to get married at this enchanting spot. Coming from the Netherlands, it's a shame it's on the other side of the world for us, otherwise, we'd be staying here more often. If you're looking for a place to relax and escape from the daily grind, this is the place to be. Absolutely fantastic!

The cabin was amazing. The bed was super comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. It was very quiet and peaceful and had everything that we needed to relax for a couple of days.

Absolutely amazing, we attend every year for our wedding anniversary and it never disappoints. The wood fire is a pleasant feature to the room and minimal phone service lets you kick back relax and switch off to the outside world.

It is a red dirt road to the accommodation, so keep that in mind. It didn’t worry us at all! The bathroom is closed in all sides, but open at the top. Just another thing to keep in mind.

The view was stunning. Very private and secluded. The included breakfast was delicious and the scones on arrival were such a lovely surprise and perfect after our long drive there.

Service could be a bit better for the price. Rooms are not made, you only see the host when you arrive. At arrival you get a basket with some supplies and you find a large plate with meat for breakfast in the fridge and other supplies.I think a house like this should care a bit more for the individual taste and also deliver fresh bread. Also, we had three big cockroaches in the room.

Location is very nice. The cabin wonderfully located between the trees. Such a nice view.
