Bath hadn't been cleaned but wasn't a big deal as there was kitchen cleaning stuff

The feeling of being alone and out the way. No wifi etc. Staff were great and gave me bug spray when I forgot to buy some

Well designed eco-huts in a beautiful location but less secluded than expected

Unfortunately it’s not as secluded as it looks. You can hear the traffic from the main road (though to be fair that may be the case for many properties in the area, most of which are close to the road due to density of the rain forest and the mountains). There is beautiful rainforest at the back of the hut but the front has been cleared and overlooks several new huts which have not yet been completed. Although lovely, this accommodation was quite expensive at $275 per night.

Well designed huts with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Beautiful setting, great location. The outdoor bathroom is wonderful and the outdoor kitchen is well equipped. A swim in the Dragon’s Hole on the property is a must!

A Magical place set in the lush rainforest, you feel like you are literally part of it with enough of the basic comforts you need to feel really comfortable. The ridge house itself is just perfect for a large family like us looking to unwind and get back to nature!

Not being able to charge our phones and GoPro camera.

The location of Noah Creek Daintree National Park is stunning. I like being off the grid. My kids would of liked internet connection. However instead of being on their devices we played board games and cards. Spectacular location. Saw a cassowary mum and her chicks. Outdoor bath is bliss listening to the bird life and insects. Loved the experience 💙💚

Unique experience perched on the ridge line with views of the rainforest one way & the ocean the other. The Ridge Hut is a very unique experience with a very open plan house, wildlife all around & a magical creek 50m away for a refreshing morning dip. Noah Creek is also a top spot for a paddle in the clear, cool refreshing rapids. Very central with Cape Tribulation only 15 min drive away.
