The emphasis in halal food for muslims was absent.

The staff was very curious and well mannered. Breakfast was very nice. The location is okay but all the transport facilities were nearby especially the train station.

Pillows very high and not comfy, there were no other options (I asked). bench in main room and floor tiles in bathroom chipped and cracked which I thought was a bit odd for quite a high end hotel. Walls were a bit grotty, needed a clean in places. Pretty expensive for location and presentation. The room next to elevator seemed odd, I doubt anyone would sleep well next to it, and the floor I was moved to did not have guest rooms adjacent the lift, which is telling.

Bed was comfy, it was clean and had plenty of tea and coffee. the view was nice. I was originally put in room next to elevator which was loud, but was promptly moved to a quieter room. The staff were great, very helpful and quick to respond.

Some mould in the bathroom, but is to be expected. Wasn't very clear on booking or check in that full payment plus $200 bond is required up front on arrival .

Spacious, modern, extremely comfy beds. Nice and quiet couldn't really hear other guests except for doors opening and closing. Easy access to tram. New head chef with a delicious and affordable new menu, great for in room dining.

Breakfast was very expensive (28$ even after a 20% discount) and coffees were not included. Could get a self made filter coffee but had to pay extra for barista coffee which I think is unreasonable for a 35$ breakfast.

Nice, clean, and spacious room. Comfortable bed and pillows, adequate soaps and shampoos etc. Decent shower pressure. Staff were very helpful. Close to tram and train stop, some nice pubs and cafes in the area.

Very clean and comfortable. Bedding was extrememly soft. Had full amenities for a good stay. Modern facilities. A moderate selection of restaurants nearby.

Only thing was I booked a double with twin beds and our room was a queen and two singles. Wasn't a big issue, but two big beds were preferred.

There was a lot of noise until about 1 in the morning - mostly repetitious music - which was both very loud and very annoying - making it impossible to sleep without headphones.

I liked that the hotel was near a lot of cafes and was easy to access from the direction I was driving into Melbourne from country Victoria. My room was compact - but it was more than enough in size. The bathroom, however, is very small making it very difficult to undertake doing your teeth /etc due to lack of space. The shower is fantastic. The hotel’s soaps/shampoos etc are not single use - which encourages reduced waste. All three of the aforementioned are top quality with a lovely subtle perfume and left both my skin and hair feeling very soft and refreshed. I liked my view from my room. The assortment of teas is reasonable - but there was no instant coffee. Easy access to Uber eats delivery and the like was available.

The bathroom was too small and splashed lots of water everywhere from the shower, so much so that it actually made the floors really slippery and dangerous after every shower.

restaurant dinner menu was a bit limited for choice. Meals were huge for one person - perhaps an option for smaller plates would be nice.

Location was perfect for my needs. Room was really comfortable and quiet Restaurant breakfast lovely. Staff really friendly and helpful
