Shower over the bath leaked water in all directions making it hard to keep clean clothes and towel dry. House keeping were rushed off their feet that they didn't replace our dirty towels. Hotel was fully booked making it a lengthy wait at times for the lifts

Excellent location, close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Novotel doesn't have their own parking but parking is available under the shopping centre next door which has direct access to the novotel and at a special rate. Buffet breakfast was great! The room was comfortable with much needed aircon

Superior rooms were not what we expected very old and dirty, mouldy damp smell on level 29 and in our room, had to move rooms but wasn’t happy with the room type for how much we had paid for one of the “better” rooms. Spa was way too small overall room was very out dated and run down

Check receipt when leaving. Charge errors are not picked up or happily dealt with. Breakfast was not a great variety, too many cues and lining up. Wouldn't recommend for the price. Queen Bed v hard, pillows too soft.

Very noisy. Difficult to sleep at night as the noisy are quite high even at night. The room don't have enough table for putting things. I would expect there is at least one study desk. The ventilation in the toilet is too weak. The air-conditioning is too weak. The room is a bit hot.

Being an old building some parts of it can't really be renovated. The balcony door was a bit hard to use is my only dislike due to its age.

The location was the best part as you can walk everywhere in the heart of surfers paradise. Rooms are renovated and fresh Staff are friendly and helpful.

Not enough hook or hanger for hanging wet clothes. We have 2 adults and 2 kids, going to beach, pool and wetnWild in different day. We needed to hang 4 set of clothes and bather for air dry. We used all the chairs and coffee table in the room for handing the clothes.

It locates near the shopping and dinning place. The room is clean and the bed is very comfy. My room is beach facing which is a very nice view. Hotel has the "Go Green" which help to save energy and save us some money for food.

No kitchenette facilities. Room service trays weren't removed from our door and the room next to us put their's also at our door. No smoking areas in the whole hotel, had to go out on the street to smoke.

The location was great, close to everything on cavil Avenue. Great views of the beach.

The stay was great, however room casting did not work for movies with the internet but everything else was great! Would recommend bringing a HDMI cord and a laptop.

We would go out during the day and had the “refresh our room” sign on the door. 4/5 days by the time we got back to the room in the late afternoon our room still hadn’t been cleaned which was disappointing - even at nearly 5pm our room wasn’t refreshed.

The bed and pillows were super comfy - usually you get one or the other but this location has both! Breakfast was good and location was great.

We booked a family room but upon arrival we were Informed that the room wasn't available. We got upgraded to an executive room and was advised that the room had access to a free mini bar. This consisted of 2 local beers a small bottle of water and a kit kat. Not what you would expect from a mini bar. The carpet was soaked and smelled of mould.

The room wasn’t quite clean: staffs forgot to empty bin with no liners, forgot to wash the tea cups, floor was new but didn’t get vacuumed probably: full of dust under the bed when I was accidentally picking up the lids of my cream jar that dropped under there. Telephone is quite old. Lifts took a long time to wait. Room does recommend helping sustainable but no bags for rubbish bin for utensils use are quite inconvenient as we don’t wanna make mess in bin directly by putting any rubbish there. We did offer change the rubbish to bag as staffs can see the bin was dirty by directly putting rubbish in after empty out. It didn’t look hygiene without having a rubbish bag for minimal hygiene utensil use.

The location is very good and next to all the shops, walk to beach and restaurants. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating.

The room is definitely not worth the money ($522.50 per night). 2 beds and a tiny bathroom with no kitchen appliances. It had a dirty ketel, spoons and cups. This room needs to have at least a microwave or even plates and cutlery at the minimum. Rip off, i feel scammed.

Fruits/coffee/drinks were OK.

Break fast could be improved especially to keep more ethnic food rather then bacon/ eggs except boiled(it's ok)/croissants/ variety of muffins/breads etc.
