I personally had a issue with the bed. Way to soft for me. And unfortunately my neck is out now. And my daughter felt that the bar staff need a lesson in making the drinks better. They need not to skimp when mixing the drinks. But we love the staff that were working that night . Great guys.

I was made to pay extra when I arrived as I had booked for breakfast to be included for 3 guests and they said only two were covered in the price of the room. I hate hidden costs like that.

The outside patio/balcony was dirty. The Staff and Food at the Thomas street buffet were opposite to Reception staff. They were nonchalant and NOT FRIENDLY at all. I'm not sure if it was because I had my buffet wearing simple attire!

Although this is obviously an older property, it is clear that the team endeavour to keep it at the best standard possible. Rooms clean and spacious. Good location for Central station and surrounding area.

No lighting over the desk. The bed making was poor - the bottom sheet was not pulled flat, just top covers pulled up. No! Yuck. The vending machine for laundry was empty. The body wash container in shower was empty - levels should be checked.

Shower was a little bit unconfortable so that the part of the bathroom was flooded.

The bathroom was a very odd layout. The toilet in the middle of the room got in the way. For the size of the room, there was no need for the bath. The slope at the door ran the wrong way, it should have sloped inward not outward. If there are plans to ever renovate that particular room, remove the bath and make it a decent sized shower and re position the toilet, opening up space in the middle. There was wasted space in the bedroom part over near the window. The beds could have been moved closer to the wondow and the bathroom could be extended by knocking the wall through

The facilities were wonderful. I find it so useful when there is a restaurant in the hotel, it saves a lot of time and hassle trying to find dinner options in a new area. The gym was good, the beds were comfortable

Something that surprised us was the lack of simple things such as milk and coffee. Our hairdryer didn't work and had to ask for another. Also the walls aren't soundproofed if you know what I mean?

The location for us was excellent, many restaurants and shops were close by. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful.

When the room was made up, there were no bin liners put back in the bins, and some of the rubbish was left in the rooms... plus no tea bags.. we found an empty bottle of water under the bed from the last people. Also the meals have not changed since September, they are the same only more expensive because they give you wine. But I don't drink. They need fried eggs on the buffet as they are $14 for 2 eggs. $25 Per person and kids eat free is great, but you have to remember and book the night before, or you have to pay $36 per person, which is steep. A bigger fridge and a microwave wave would be nice in these rooms The bathrooms are a little small, and the shower over the bath isn't good for people who have hip problems. If I had my parents there, they wouldn't be able to get in that shower

The staff were very friendly , the location was perfect. Breakfast was lovely all you could eatmake sure you book it the night before.. Beds comfy. But it would be better if it were two singles and a queen. Anzac morning biscuits were perfect.. thank you
