There was a loud noise that went on and off at random times, at first we thought it was someone turning on the hot water having a shower in the room next door but we didnt know what it was? The motel is a bit old and dated and basic. Very old school motel style. in competition to airbnb's I think they could've included some little 'extras'.

we had our own breakfast and used the toaster. The manager was lovely and gave us a late checkout. It was relatively quiet considering its proximity to the highway.

There was mould in the shower and lots of cobwebs in the room.

Check in and out was seamless - we did not see another person, let alone any staff.

The room is from the 1970s and there was no information when we arrived on how to get to town and back we never saw one staff member. They left the key in our room to unlock every myself and we drop the key off in the box when we left three days later. It would’ve been nice to know that there was a shuttle bus running to town, so we didn’t have to spend all the money on taxes The rooms had stalls for toilets, and everything was very outdated The beds were double beds, and as hard as a rock

The shower door was broken, the exhaust fan was very dirty & the towels were clean but of poor quality.

The location & the garden setting. The room was a good size. The bed was clean & comfortable. The manager was helpful.

Wasn't able to get a clear signal on the TV which made it unwatchable Free wifi was almost non-existent. Towels were clean but thin.

Adequate for a one-night stay. Clean, but quite dated in terms of heating/cooling. Instructions for key clearly outlined on reception door.

I have said all of that.

We did not know there was a breakfast option. We only saw one staff member (the Manager?) for a few minutes as we checked in. There was no suggestion that breakfast was available. We would have taken this. The bed was comfortable. The floor and bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. The motel was a useful option, but not wonderful, for us this time.

To be fair the worst part was the next door renters who were very noisy till 1.30am and did not fully quiet down until 2.30am. Rest was just quite old really, thin walls (from a sound basis), mattresses very basic, quite small tv. A little overpriced for what it was compared to others that we found in Gippsland.

There needs to be more care taken with cleanliness and the heating provided was inadequate on a very cold evening. Happy to provide feedback direct to owners if they wish.

Ian was friendly and accommodating. My booking was for compassionate reasons during a COVID-19 lock down and Ian provided contactless check in and check out. When I decided to shorten my stay due to border crossing concerns, it was no trouble for Ian.

The room was disgusting. It hadn't been cleaned in a year or so. There was dust everywhere, and it smelled very bad. I found a bug in our bed, and the spider webs hung above the toaster. The freezer door in the fridge was barely attached, which meant you couldn't use it. For 140 for one night, it was deplorable.
