How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Room faces an area used for loud music and general noise from outdoor entertainment and bar. Didn't finish till around midnight both nights.
Location was very good. Close to tram. Clean and comfortable.

The beds and pillows were super hard, it looked as if the shower had rust and mould in it. Half the hotel was full of rubbish from what I assume is renovations, they have a closed off area next to the spas for bags and bags of rubbish which is gross. Pool area not easy to access and tiny gym.
Conveniently located near the main strip, short walk.

A big disappointment was the pool/ spas were closed the entire time we were there. It was hot sunny weather and we purposely booked somewhere with a pool and were unable to use it.
The location was very good, central to the main shops and food and shopping. It was located at a convenient location to the tram which made it easier to get around.

The time taken to Check-in was ridiculously long. The process was far too long. Other large accommodation hotels have a very simple and quick check-in process. The other thing I didn't like was the piece of glass covering half the bath tub. This makes it very difficult to bath children. Plus not a fan with having to pay for parking when already paying for accommodation.
Breakfast was good. There was a good selection of food and it was very tasty. The bathroom was roomy. Hotel is not too far from Cavill Avenue. Our room was comfortable.

It can be a bit noisy on Saturday nights. The door to the bathroom needs a good paint job. I believe a quick freshen up of the rooms would make them seem more inviting. It was difficult to open our door with the card. We did try to explain to staff but it clicked every time. It was the actual opening of the door that was the problem.
Location was handy, parking was very convenient and reasonably priced. Easy to find your way around. The unit was lovely and bright with the light coming in.

We had to ask every day for 3 towels as we only ever received 2. The shower glass needs to be extended as water ends up everywhere and the shower head kept on falling.

What condition the room was in did not seem clean and there was some broken stuff, no place to heat up food and pool was cold, other than that I loved my stay and id book again.
Help full staff, supper kind and friendly willing to help where they can. Place is open 247 so perfect if you want to go anywhere, supper close to the beach, clubs and shops it was a really good locations would book there again.

The lobby looks new and maintained but other floors of the building look old and shabby. The hotel hallway needs repainting especially room doors with lots of scratches. The beds need to be replaced too because springs could really be noisy once you sit on it.
I love the city view from our room. It is very close to the beach and shops. There is a lot of street parking around the building. The hotel room was clean and the receptionists were helpful.

Needs a renovation, most things are old specially the carpets. No pool. No parking (there is a public one next door but you need to pay).

No on site parking. Offered a refund for parking that we were unable to use due to height of our vehicle. We were told the refund would take 30 days but we didn't receive it.

The breakfast buffet was not that great. Quite a bit of options but many of the choices provided were very oily. When we came back from room cleaning we were missing a towel and had to ask reception for another one :/
