Bathroom was a bit old and not very functional, water went everywhere. Water took ages to adjust and didn’t keep temperature well.

We had trouble finding room 21 from reception area. The kitchen window was open for other residents to look into if blind was up. We had someone calling in through the window . If blind down was very dark in kitchen. Maybe a frosted glass so others can’t see in would be better. Otherwise fantastic .

Didn’t like the fact that we were expected to wash our own dishes etc on departing the property, instead of them being put through a dishwasher to make sure they were properly cleaned before the next guest. We were also unhappy they you also had to take your own rubbish to the bins. For us the bins were3 floors down and a short walk through the car park. Surely the washing up and rubbish removal are covered in the room price.

It was clean and comfortable, in a quite location but still close to a beach and the CBD.

We stayed 4 nights and while there was no personal interaction with staff booking arrangements and check in and out were simple and location to Bowling club was convenient for meals

The only negative thing for us was the laundry facilities. The washer is $3 and the dryer is $4, however I had to put the dryer on two cycles per load for the clothes to be fully dry. There is a clothes line but I chose not to use this as we were not on site during the days (we were up there for a week long sporting tournament).

Great location! Walking distance to main beach and shops. Apartment was very clean and has been modernised. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was on the small side but fresh and clean.

Some guests in other units were a little noisy. Received about 8 emails and 2 text messages from Oxley Cove - way too many!

Exceptionally clean and tidy. Furniture in very good condition. Bathroom a little dated, but absolutely no problem with everything working and very clean. The bedrooms were large and the separation of bedrooms was good, with a second door between the 2nd bedroom - well laid out

Hot water running out and having to wait 15 mins between people and to bath your child was a bit inconvenient but got used it. Had a great first 2 night's sleep until the last night of our stay we had someone next door literally knocking on our bedroom wall everytime my child starting sobbing, not screaming only very light crying. I was shocked, it was 10pm not in the middle of the night, So those walls in the main bedroom must be paper thin, I have never had issues with sleeping in motels with my kid before. Couldn't complain to reception upon checking out as it was closed.

Only issue was the hot water was extremely hot and probably dangerous. You could certainly get a scalding If not very careful it should be fixed

It was opposite a school which in itself was not a major problem but there was some building work in progress which meant it was quite noisy and the wotrk started early in the morning.

The location was very good, quite convenient. There was no view so it wasn't exceptional.
