Only bad thing about this hotel is very weak and unreliable Wi-Fi on the 1st floor.

The gentlemen running the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. They also organized a taxi that did not rip me off when I had to leave! It is close to all the tourist sites.

Worn down a little, hotel could use some updating It was a little cold, no heating but the AC. Like I said before: great for sleeping and exploring the city; not so great if you wish to spend more time at the hotel.

Nice hotel in a very good location close to Galata Tower. We booked the economy bedroom (would not recommend) and were upgraded for free (thanks!!!) for the last two nights to a standard bedroom in the second floor (would definitely recommend). Great hotel if you plan to explore the city and only sleep here, if you want to relax at the hotel I would recommend booking a hotel with a spa/hamam option. Best thing about the hotel: the rooftop! Such amazing views!!!

The property is very close to Galata Tower and the busy shopping street. The terrace on the 5th floor has a good view of Galata tower and Bosphorois. I would like to thank Ibrahim for upgrading me from standard room to 4th floor. He is so friendly and he answer all my question and give good advices. The room is a bit old but its clean and the bed is comfortable. They have free tea and coffee at the lobby. Just be cautious not to bring big luggage because the street going to the hotel is steep.

I have made a reservation with credit card and yet we were asked to pay in cash only. Only after some discussion we were allowed to pay by credit card. Rooms have some wear and tear, broken showers, etc. Not a big deal, one should expect such things.

The location of the hotel is very good - 200 meters from Galata tower and not noisy at all. Turkish coffee and tea offered at the reception. The terrace for breakfast is fabulous - great overview of the tower and the old town Istanbul. Double deluxe rooms were small, but well furnished and from the 3rd floor with a nice view. Rooms were clean and tidy. Day receptionist is polite and helpful.

There is mold on the wall and ceiling need good maintainance about the building and for a good health of the customer.

Strategic, near to Galata Tower, everything is nearby. Of course you will sweat more because up and down hill still okay for young people.

The hotel was in a lovely old area of Istanbul, with a good deal of gentrification taking place all around. The staff were really friendly and helpful all the way through our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and it is available until 11am which was good for us. The room was nicely decorated and we had a kettle and fridge

Unfriendly staff, feels like they always want to fool you. Bad isolation in the rooms, you can hear what's going on in the room next to you. Weird noises were coming from the ventilation pipe, which probably was leading to a trash container also brining some smells from there + smell of smoke

Location is great, just in the middle of the old town. We have enjoyed a nice view on Bosfor from the window, you could see all the mosks and in the morning could hear all the prayers (if you open the window). Our host Amar was exceptional, helped us with everything and even quickly sketched for us a plan for the day with all the best places to see and nice restaurants to stop on the way - and they were great. I've never seen such dedicated and thoutful service - many thanks, mate!

The toilet paper was running out, and the towels were not being replaced, so we had constantly given to chase the reception. There was a small minibar in the room but didn't have any stock ,the drinks were o ly at the reception, as well the kettle needs to be changed as it seemed really old and was not switching on

Even though it was advertised as basement room some things could have been better. Most importantly there was hardly any wifi signal in my room at all and I tried all the available hotel wifis Some things, like the hair drier, the toilet button and some sockets were not in good shape

The cleanliness of washroom was pretty dismal and would require a bit more effort.

I checked in this hotel fairly late at night and they did have 24/7 receptions and they do provide one with local sim for extra cost which was super convenient. The location is perfect with Galatower just few mins walk where there is plenty of cafe, restaurant and bars.
