The sound of the traffic. Horns blasting, sirens. But that's our problem. Not used to main roads sound

Close to trams to get around Melbourne and into the city. Walking distance to places . Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely come again .

Noisey as our room was next to main road, had to put a towel over ironing board due to the cover being too thin and marks being left on my shirt. Bathroom flooded a bit when having a shower which over flowed due to the drain not being able to keep up with the water pressure and only had it on half, was hard to see it over flowing as I wear glasses so didn’t see till half the bathroom was wet.

This was our second stay with Park Squire and it was as pleasant as the first one. The staff are nice, the rooms are spacious, the location is great.

Hotel Needs some Renovations like out paints and cleaning of the galleries

The location is very nice. Petrol station, 7 Eleven , Tram Station and Bus stand is in the front of the Hotel. The free way is just 100-200 meters away from the Hotel. Main City is just 20 meters away from the hotel by bus or Tram. The zoo is 2.5 km away from the hotel. The Race course is also very close to the hotel.The hotel staff is good ,special thanks to Mr.Lee and the owner of the hotel and also other staff too. Room Cleaning 🧹 staffs are very good and nice.

Ignore the outside appearance as its a nice place to stay.

The graffitied signs advertising this hotel do not inspire confidence, neither does the shabby car park, but give it a chance. Our room had recently been decorated and was lovely and clean, with a great bathroom. We had a kettle and fridge, but we did have ask for a toaster (which was broken), and there is a microwave in the car park (yes, that is strange, but it makes it available for use 24/7, so handy!). We have no complaints about the room or the staff, who were welcoming. However, if we had been driving by looking for a place to stay, we would have kept going. But looks are deceiving in this case. The hotel is on a very busy road and getting into it can be a bit chaotic, so only stay here if you are a confident driver. We didn't hear too much road noise but we were at the back of the property. On the positive side it is only a 30 minute walk to the Victoria Market; you must visit here as it is really interesting, but go early and check opening times , as it is not open every day. The free inner city trams start from near the market. The free historic tram also goes from there.

A microwave in the room rather than a single shared microwave in the carpark would have vastly improved our stay. Basically to allow reheating of takeaway food.

Great place for an overnight stay within a short distance from Melbourne CBD ... We found the Park Squire Motor Inn very comforable and with great service by friendly staff. Bonus of having free parking onsite.

Lack of cutlery and crockery. We were only supplied with tea cups and tea spoons. So when we ordered take away we had no way of eating it. Also a microwave would have been very handy.
