Breakfast box ordered for 6am as we had to leave at 6-15. It didn’t arrive. So disappointed .

There seemed to be a lack of staff to clean the room. We had to go and ask a few times before it happened. Also door signs like ‘Please clean my room’ were missing. Restaurant was equally hands off and slow with a push towards self service. Just a lack of attention to detail suggesting insufficient staff.

The bathrooms were extremely small. Not that you need a lot of room but the door barely swung past the toilet and when opened blocked the shower entry. Parking was very low if you have a slightly raised vehicle beware with only 1800 headroom in some places.

Very easy to get too and convenient location. We like the hotel had a really good restaurant and breakfast which made it very easy.

The food purchases from the bar, which was made by the hotel restaurant kitchen, was definitely not up to the standard you would expect from this hotel. It wasn’t even up to the standard that I would expect from a niceish pub. And in the room dining food was only just passable, because we were hungry. Great service and presentation, but that cannot make up for the cheap ingredients and poor cooking.

The room was large, modern, clean, with a big smart TV The bed very comfortable and the top floor was really quiet so I had a great sleep. The breakfast buffet was excellent. All my interactions with varied staff throughout the hotel was friendly helpful polite and positive. I would definitely stay here again but given my experience eat elsewhere, apart from breakfast.

Major mistake at check-in by staff member which resulted in us being given the incorrect rooms, even though we queried the difference compared to our booking. This then lead to the inconvenience of us having to repack our bags and being moved to different rooms on a different level (thankfully we spoke to Bayley before going out to dinner, it would have been a disaster if we had waited until later).

The rooms looked as though they had been refurbished, looked fresh, very clean and very spacious. The bathroom were great, also very clean, spacious and quite modern. We also enjoyed the variety of restaurants and bars that were literally within metres of the hotel. Bayley, reception staff member, went above and beyond for us after the initial check-in staff member totally messed up our booking. The close proximity to the Royal Show made it so easy to catch a taxi there and back.

The pool desperately needs heating! The adjacent apartment towers mean the pool receives limited sunlight during the day and is absolutely freezing. Everything else about our stay was exceptional.

the towels had stains, the food was not worth the price. i wouldn’t stay there again as it was way to expensive for what it was. the staff were also annoyed that i asked for an extra bed in my room after a concert. my brother has some health issues and didnt feel well enough to go home so it was a bit upsetting when we were made to feel like an inconvenience. i also haven’t received my bond money back

Lifts getting out of the building were terribly slow and at capacity. We ended up walking down the fire stairs
