the aircon is set on the wall right near the bed and it was difficult to setup it the way not to blow on you during sleep. the bed could be more comfortable as the mattress is rather soft. the overall room conditions are worth having update/refresh as it is outdated. and also tv was showing only audio/radio channels... there is only one mexican restaurant in the hotel but it is not a problem as there are plenty more within 3-5 mins walking.

The location was great. Just 2 mins walk from the Ironman Cairns transition. The pool is big and nice. the room was not big enough but was ok for me.

Our first Ocean View room was really tired and had really small bedrooms and a tiny bathroom. We ended up moving rooms a few days later and the penthouse room was really lovely.

The staff were probably the most friendly and helpful bunch that I’ve ever come across in an Australian hotel. Great pool and pretty good breakfast.

Staff we not friendly at all, breakfast just average/basic. Staff at pool bar wouldn't make drinks on menu, always saying to busy to blend a toblerone or make the stawb daquiri. Bathroom needed updating with chip tiles on floor etc.

the room is dated, the hooks in the cabinet need maintenance, the door frame timber is getting rotten. my room in the 3rd floor is ok for me but with young family and old people, it will be good if the lift is available.

Only certain areas have lifts to rooms. We couldn't climb the flights of stairs due to health reasons, however the staff were able to find us a suitable room with easy access after a couple of days all was good.

The staff were very friendly, polite & nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is beautiful & has a relaxed/fun vibe. Loved the swim up cocktail bar & the gardens. The location is perfect for a relaxing break. The beds were very comfortable & there was enough storage space in our rooms.

loved the beautiful lagoon pool and bar. loved the location. we had an ocean view room, so lovely go sit on our balcony and watch all the activity in the evening. woke up to a lovely sunrise. room was lovely, bed was very comfortable like a cloud.

We paid extra for a spa on the balcony but unfortunately the people staying next door were able to see us in the spa from their balcony. We didn’t feel comfortable using the spa with no privacy.

I found the bed far too hard for my liking - if you like softer bedding then you'll struggle. The water temperature wasn't as hot as we'd have liked - warm, rather than hot showers only in our room.

The staff are really good, friendly and helpful, without exception. Peppers are always reliable in terms of the facilities; the pool, bar and restaurants nearby were all great and the breakfast buffet was really good too, catering for those requiring gluten-free better than most. Location is right opposite the beach and the market popping up across from the hotel along the esplanade on the Sunday was good too.

There was nothing we could say we did not like about Peppers Beach Resort. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday. Thankyou. The underground parking was easily accessible and spaces were always available.

Our room was superbly located on the ground floor as close as one could be to the pool. Breakfast was always fresh however the poached eggs left in the mainmarie were always hard so we had scrambled eggs which were good. Great selection of cereals, fruits etc.

The beach pool provided a great alternative to actually going to the beach. Boys aged 4, 2 and 1 had the best time. Loved that beach toys were provided.

Incredible pool area with swim up bar and pool toys, beautiful hotel and gorgeous rooms! Although it was really windy on the beach when we arrived, the pool area was beautifully sheltered. Staff were super professional and accommodating. It was a beautiful experience. Dinner at Neptunes was also amazing.

door to roof top should open out not in stairs leading up to roof top look great but not practical should be non slip I slipped an fell half way down after being in the spa I have multiple bruises over my body

The main pool which was best for children was closed for around 24 hours. There were delays in getting open again because the staff to clean it were not available. Surely they should have better arrangements for when these things happen. We also were not informed about what was going on by staff which should have been a simple courtesy.

it was great for a family holiday, 8 adults and 5 kids. could not have chosen better.
