Air conditioner did not work which was disappointing as it was cold. But there were extra blankets.

Location was excellent. Gardens were well maintained and rooms were comfortable.

The property was outdated and was in need of some TLC. We checked in at 4pm and had to wait for our room to be cleaned.

It was just very dated - not fussed about decor but damaged curtains and a bit of lack of attention to detail such as dirty chopping board and well used dish sponge ! Water pipes banged a lot. Rubbish overflowing in bins outside.

There was a cord through one of the sheets near the pillow which was weird. The double bed was hard and pillows not great. There was a disgusting amount of rubbish over flowing from the big bins near the laundry. The laundry room was run down.

The rooms were big. The location was perfect and walking distance to everything. Staff were friendly. The pool was good and heated to a Luke warm temp. We used the electric fry pan for cooking which was great. We also used laundry services.

The facilities are old and the towels given for us to use are quite utilised and worn. But for the price and stay it is still very much worth it.

For the price, the location is awesome. Just outside the motel lies shops and cafes.

The freezer in the fridge was totally iced over... couldn't even open the door Drapes and curtains were torn and badly needed an update Toilet seat was very unstable Had 2 extra single beds in another room I didnt know about Very noisy next door kept us awake until 1pm the day before aI had to race at The Stawell Gift meeting... wasnt impressed

Big cobwebs behind the curtains, attention to detail lacking.

As a single traveller I was lost in a huge family suite, obviously plenty of space with everything to hand. Could do with a bit of updating, but it was comfortable and generally clean. But for location it was just perfect, the shops and some restaurants were literally on the doorstep, parking was right outside and the wonderful bird life made this a spectacular place to stay, a variety of sound.

The decor was pretty outdated and felt uncared for- dripping taps, fluoro lights not replaced, freezer filled with ice coating. The outside area was not cared for. Leaf litter everywhere and dirty barbecue. Should have been pretty and a nice place to hang out in given the trees and Mountain View’s.

The king size bed was comfortable and the room clean. The location was very good with easy access to restaurants and cafes.

The swimming pool was not properly maintained and couldn’t be used at all. The curtains and over sheets were a bit dusty and the fact that room service happens once every 2 days made it unpleasent. Would’ve helped if we were provided with additional bin bags and coffee sachets especially for heavy coffee drinkers. Further we have also noticed cob webs on the back side of the property which requires regular cleaning. Most importantly we were not made aware it was a self contained room at the time of booking.

The location of the property was perfect, with easy parking, closer to all amenities and shops. Also the cleaners went out of their way to provide additional biscuites upon request which felt nice. All basic amenities were provided including 24/7 hotwater and the kitchenette was equipped with a nice collection of cutlaries, electric hot plates and cooking utentsils. The bathroom and toilets were clean making out stay comfortable.

Would have liked a stove. Internet was terrible. This needs to be better in this day and age. Need to be able to check emails and research tourist activities. No shower curtain or soap holder.

The wifi didn’t work well at all. The property grounds are not well maintained. Cockatoos pull rubbish from bins so some areas have lots of scattered debris. The bed could do with replacement. The kitchen sink tap had water-hammer loud noises.

Its proximity to the main area of town but in a quiet back street. Large grounds with kangaroos & lots of birds. It was spacious.

Laundry and bin collection could have been better

Very good location just by the shopping centre but also with mountain views. Kangaroos came down in the evening. Good rooms with all facilities.

Pool - dont book this place for the pool! Looks NOTHING like the photos. It looked like it hadn't been touched in 50 years! Desperately needed cleaning and topping up / refilling. Looked abandoned. We dare not get in it.

Very large room, comfortable bed. Kangaroos right outside the room! Easy parking. Location was great, especially the location of our room, very easy access to shops and restaurants. Helpful staff. Very simple check-in and out (didn't even have to step foot in reception). I would stay here again.
